I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life—33 years of understanding their personalities, routines, and needs. My pet-sitting journey started by caring for friends’ homes and pets and grew naturally through recommendations, which I believe is the highest compliment.

I care for pets the same way I care for my own—with patience, consistency, and respect for their routines. Whether in my home or yours, I follow your pet’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest to help them feel comfortable and secure. I take time to understand each pet’s personality and needs, provide plenty of attention and affection, and ensure they are safe at all times. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with care and keep everything clean and orderly. I also communicate regularly with updates and photos so you always have peace of mind while you’re away (if this is something you’d like).

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Rachel and could not recommend her more highly. From the moment we left, we felt completely confident that our home and pets were in great hands, which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our vacation without any stress or worry. She took exceptional care of our home. Communication was excellent throughout our time away, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing everything was being handled so thoughtfully. Finding someone trustworthy enough that you can truly disconnect while traveling is invaluable, and she absolutely exceeded our expectations. We would gladly have her stay in our home again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable, responsible, and genuinely caring.

I have used Rachel over the past several years to pet sit my dogs when I go out of town. I have anxious dogs that do not do well in boarding. I know that they love to see Rachel and that they are being cared for lovingly while I am gone. She has a ton of experience with all dogs/breeds. At one point I had 4 large dogs she was managing. Rachel is great at communicating and was always giving me updates and pictures while I was away.

Harmonogram
Pet care fits naturally into my schedule. I work in-office Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, which allows me to provide reliable early morning, evening, and overnight care during the school year. Depending on distance from my office, I can provide mid day potty breaks and snuggles! I have full availability on school holidays, making me a great option for extended stays or extra check-ins. During June and July, I’m off for the summer and have an open, flexible schedule with full daytime availability—ideal for pets who need more frequent attention, consistency, or longer-term care.
