Safety, trust & environment
I had two doggies of my own at home who recently passed, but I have lots of experience with older dogs and giving oral medication own, but with this I strictly focusing on my client’s needs. I have two leashes already and poop bags that I can use but am also willing to use whatever materials the client has as well. I offer lots of companionship and words/hugs of encouragement with whichever pet I am caring for to ensure they feel safe and can trust me. I currently have one little dog and am a veterinary technician in training (currently in school).
Information Rachel M. would like to know about your pet
I have never performed dog CPR, but I am certified and with basic first aid. I have taken care of small injuries until I can take the dog to vet ahead of time (with the location of the desired vet). I would like to know if the dog has anxiety, has certain eating conditions, any other special circumstances that would make the dog more comfortable and to care for them well.
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs physically and mentally with play time, little mind games (such as finding the treat), and lots of walks! I usually try to stay within the neighborhood I am in but also like to go to local parks if I can!

Pet care experience
I have been taking care of dogs of various breeds since I was about 11 years old, but I've had my previous dogs for 13 years helping to take care of them. This was for my neighbors, friends, family, and they have relied on me to feed, walk, and provide companionship for their pets. I treat these dogs as if they were my own and fill their home and environment with so much love and care to ease their anxiety. I am a registered veterinary technician and am experienced with various care levels!
Reviews

Rachel came to the rescue last minute!! I am definitely reaching out to her again in the future!

Rachel is amazing, we worked with her twice while we were on vacation, and she was amazing both times. Highly recommend!!!

Rachel is a wonderful person to work with. She responds to messages very quickly and is very flexible with modifications and needs of pets. Rachel sent us a photo of our pet while we were away and was very attentive to his needs. After booking with Rachel for one day, we immediately requested her services the next! We will definitely work with Rachel whenever we are in the area.

We feel lucky to have found Rachel and hope she will come again!
