Love Watching Dogs and Cats :)
I worked at the doggy daycare Urban Hound Playground in South Minneapolis for 8 mounths and worked at Chuck and Don's Pet Food and Supplies in Northeast Minneapolis for almost a year. I have also helped out with my roommate's dog and have provided short-term foster care for dogs through Can Do Cannines and I also volunteer occasionally with Safe Hands Animal Rescue. I have as of now been helping pet sit and dog walk on Rover for over 5 years. I love it! I love walking dogs, playing with them, and I really don't mind picking up their poop and cleaning up after them. I can also give you advice on different issues you are having with your dog and recommend products to help with things like: indigestion, aniexty, dental problems, and poop-eating. I'm more of a dog expert but I do enjoy cats as well and have a good amount of experience caring for them. I also have a little experience taking care of bunnies and backyard chickens through Rover. I'm open to most animals though if there is something I didn't list feel free to ask. I will provide a loving, safe and fun enviorment for your animals. I genuinely care about thier health, safety and happiness. I look forward to working with you and providing the best possible services and experiences for your amazing and unique pets!

I provide an emotionally and physically safe space for both human and animal clients. I talk to people about their needs and I desire to foster an environment for their animals that feel very comfortable with. I'm happy to give updates but like to give them only as much as my client wants. I want you to be able to be immersed in your time away knowing your animals are in good hands.

Rachel did a wonderful job taking care of our dog and sent pictures every day :) Appreciate that she left our house clean and tidy.
Rachel did a wonderful job looking after our 2 Huskies while we were out of town. There was never a worry and she gave us daily pictures and small updates as to how things were going and what our dogs were up to. Our pups were very happy and fulfilled when we got back. She also was great about making sure our senior dog received her medication daily. Our house was also left in fantastic condition, making returning home very comfortable. Would certainly book Rachel again, thank you!

Rachel was absolutely wonderful with our two puppies! She helped us out in a pinch when we had to leave for a last-minute weekend getaway, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She was reliable, responsive, and clearly cared deeply for our pups. We came home to two happy, well-loved dogs and a peaceful house. We’re so grateful for her flexibility and kindness — we’ll definitely be reaching out to her again!
Rachel did an awesome job. She went above and beyond to care for a somewhat older dog who has arthritis and needs frequent walks. Left the place in great condition and communicated very well. I would highly recommend her to others.

Schedule
I am planning on starting a part time job on June 30th that would be Monday-Thursday. I can still pet sit on those days as long as the animals are okay being left alone for 7-8 hours (depending on how long the commute from Brooklyn Park would be). Additionally, I can commit to anytime before the 30th and the majority of Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for animals that are not able to or you would not like to be on their own for that duration of time during the day.
