About Rachel M.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide attentive and reliable pet care either in my home or in the client’s home, depending on their preference. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and any specific care instructions. I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and well-cared for by giving them plenty of attention and maintaining a clean environment. If caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space, keep everything tidy, and ensure the pet experiences minimal disruption to their normal routine. I am also comfortable administering medications if needed and monitoring pets for any changes in behavior or health. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both the pet and the owner.
Information Rachel M. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for a pet, I like to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, temperament, and any special instructions to help keep them comfortable and stress-free. It’s also important for me to know about any medical conditions, medications, allergies, behavioral concerns, fears/triggers, and how they interact with other people or animals. I also appreciate knowing their favorite activities, toys, and comfort items so I can make sure they feel happy and at home while in my care.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active, engaged, and happy by tailoring activities to their personality and energy level. Fun activities can include walks, fetch, tug-of-war, playing with toys, outdoor playtime, trips to the park, cuddle time, and interactive games that provide mental stimulation. For cats or lower-energy pets, I enjoy using toys, laser pointers, enrichment games, and giving them plenty of affection and attention. My goal is to make sure every pet feels loved, entertained, and comfortable while in my care
