If you’re looking for a loving, reliable home-from-home for your dog, you’re in the right place. I’ve had dogs for over 21 years and genuinely love caring for them. I currently have Dinky, my friendly 11-year-old terrier, who absolutely loves having other dogs around. I’m lucky to live right on Minchinhampton Common, which means scenic walks straight from my doorstep. Your dog will enjoy plenty of exercise and fresh air every day, whether they love long walks or gentle strolls. I’ve spent years looking after friends’ dogs while they’re away, so I understand how important it is to leave your dog somewhere they feel safe, relaxed and cared for. I treat every dog like my own, giving them the attention, routine, and affection they’re used to. I’m experienced with: • Senior dogs and those needing a slower pace • Administering medication • Special diets and feeding routines • Dogs who need a little extra reassurance or cuddles I keep owners updated with messages and photos so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and settled. I’m always happy to arrange a meet & greet beforehand, it’s important that both you and your dog feel completely comfortable.

This was the first time we’d asked Rachel to drop in for visits with Iggy and she was brilliant. We contacted her very last minute due to some tricky work schedules and she was incredibly flexible timings and great communication. Iggy loved her and we’d highly recommend to anyone looking for great pup care.

Rachel was such a dream to have! My dogs absolutely loved her and she also sent me regular photo updates. Rachel took time out of her day to also come round before the bookings to meet them which was really appreciated. I would 100% rebook her, I know my fur babies miss her already!!
Bramble had a lovely 2 days with Rachel, and will be returning for a full week in late July.
Bella has just spent a whole week with RACHEL whose love care and attention has been wonderful for her. Bella is a shy little dog but she soon got her confidence. Lots of fun to be had A Big Thank You 🙏

Schedule
I work from home running my own accommodation agency business, which I am able to fit around the dog care that I’m providing each week.

Safety, trust & environment
My garden is fully enclosed, fenced and gated. Having a terrier, I am very accustomed to escape artist dogs and the safety and comfort of any dog will always be my priority during their stay, I also have an Westonbirt Arboretum membership, should your dog want to explore slightly further afield.
Pets
A typical day
I’m situated just behind the Amberley Inn, so have a great choice of walks on my doorstep. For weekend stays, I’m happy to take the dogs further afield to Westonbirt - if you feel this is something they would enjoy.
