Happiest when I have a dog close by my side
I’ve been looking after dogs on and off for close to 30 years now. That’s been a mixture of day care and overnight stays sometimes for up to two weeks. I have also fostered dogs through Dogs Trust.

Always a relief when Rachel is free to look after Bertie. This recent booking was for a special occasion so I felt able to relax knowing Bertie would have fun and be well looked after, as always, with Rachel. I would highly recommend Rachel for all your doggy care needs 🙂
Rachel is our number one go-to for Lupin. Our dog loves staying there, Rachel is great, keeping her entertained and exercised. Couldn’t recommend her enough
We continue to use Rachel for Lupins over night stays. She lives going there. Rachel is great with her and sends updates and info on their walks and hangs! I can highly recommend Rachel for any dog related duties. We’ll be seeing her again soon!
Rachel was great looking after Rafi, he can be nervous and she was very understanding and gave us time for a meet and greet and small visit to let him settle in. She also updated us during the day so we knew he was fine, much appreciated thanks Rachel!

Rachel has always been so caring and considerate of Sandy's wellbeing when he is in her charge. He is an old dog now, and with that comes the need to ensure he is comfortable, getting his medication when he needs it and his schedule ( read wee breaks :-)) is for front. Rachel is brilliant at this, and we never worry about him when he is being looked after by her.

Schedule
I work from home so your dog will have company. I’m quite active so taking a dog out for walks is right up my street and also really good for me on that it forces me to get away from my desk. I tend to take dogs out for one long walk and a few short ones if they need it. At weekends I tend to head to the South Downs to walk and also spend time mooching about Brighton - which is probably the most dog friendly place I’ve been - so would always be happy taking your dog with me. Finally I live 2 mins from Brighton beach so if they like splashing about, that’s an offer too.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a walled courtyard but it does have steps down to it. So as long as your dog is able for steps they’ll can spend time in the courtyard. When I’m working from home, your dog can keep me company in my office or lounge about downstairs.
A typical day
I’ll spend time walking your dog on the Sth Downs or maybe a stroll to the beach if they like the beach. If I do anything where dogs are allowed, I’ll take the dog with me. Also will have time for play
