With more than 20 years of experience caring for pets, I've had the pleasure of owning and caring for around 12 cats of various breeds, including Siamese, Persian, Bengal, and Himalayan cats. Over the years, I've developed a strong understanding of animal behavior, patience, and the individualized care every pet deserves. I currently share my home with Charlie my 6-year-old Chihuahua, who has helped me gain even more hands-on experience caring for dogs. I am committed to providing every pet in my care with the same level of love, attention, and compassion. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. Whether your dog enjoys playtime, quiet companionship, or sticking to their usual routine, I'll do my best to make them feel safe, relaxed, and right at home while you're away. My goal is to provide an stress-free experience for both you and your furry family member, so you can travel with confidence knowing they're in caring hands.

Rachel was a godsend for my dog. He is 12 years old and going thru chemo. She went out of her way to care for him and ensure he was eating. I am so grateful for her patience and kindness.

My babies came home so happy, and I could tell they were truly well cared for and loved while they were with Rachel. She also sent so many photos throughout their stay. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. She even told me she slept on the couch with one of my puppies, which was the sweetest thing and meant so much to me. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches, and I wouldn’t hesitate to trust her with my pups again. Highly recommend!

As an overprotective mom of a Frenchie, I can’t speak highly enough of Rachel and the care she took of my boy Smokey while we were gone on a weeklong vacation out of the country. She sent daily updates with pictures and videos, and I could rest easy knowing he was well taken care of and having a great time at her house. I will definitely be using Rachel for any of our future vacation needs and I’m sure Smokey already misses her and her boy Charlie.

Schedule
I do work from home full time and I am also a full time mom! However, with this being said I have learned how to balance my schedule and time to know what works best for me and my guests. I guarantee to always give my best self and availability to you and your pets!

I take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming home for every pet in my care. With a dog of my own, I'm no stranger to daily shedding, so I vacuum regularly and keep my home as clean and comfortable as possible. I know our furry friends can't help leaving a little extra fur behind, and I'm happy to adjust my routine to keep the space fresh. Your pet's safety is always my top priority. I make sure all toxic substances, hazardous items, and anything that could pose a risk are securely out of reach. I continuously monitor the environment to ensure it remains safe, secure, and pet-friendly. When your furry family member stays with me, you can have peace of mind knowing they'll be cared for with the same love, attention, and dedication I give my own.

A typical day
I believe every dog deserves both physical exercise and mental enrichment. Whether it's daily walks, games of fetch, interactive play, or activities tailored to their personality and energy level, I'll make sure they stay active, engaged, and happy. After playtime, your pup can relax with plenty of fresh water, belly rubs, cuddles, and a cozy place to rest. My spacious, fully fenced backyard provides a safe and exciting space where your dog can run, play, and burn off energy—it's sure to become their favorite playground!
