I work as a substitute teacher Tuesday through Thursday most weeks with a flexible schedule Monday and Friday so I'm able to move my schedule around to accommodate drop-ins at different times those days but not as much until after 3:00 pm Tuesday through Thursday. I know about my out of town trips well enough in advance to know my availability when you request sitting.

I have worked with all sorts of breeds and personalities of dogs in the rescue world, but I would love to know any special needs or traits about your pet ahead of time.
A typical day
I will go at the dog’s pace. If they love fetch, we’ll play fetch. If they want to hang out on the couch, we’ll do that. As well as marking off your to-do list, I like to make sure your pet gets to spend the time the way they want too.

Hey there. My name is Rachel. I've owned my own pets for the last 16 years. I’ve been taking care of other people's pets for over 5 years now and have met some wonderful people and pets along the way. My main option on here is drop-ins, but I also do dog walking and short term house sitting. If you have a dog, kid, and cat friendly dog I could also keep them at my home, so let me know! I have helped run the local animal rescue for the past 10 years so I have a lot of experience with dogs of all ages and sizes. I have experience with cats, dogs, chickens, puppies, kittens, & senior pets. I am comfortable giving medicine, cleaning up messes, working with pets with special needs, and helping dogs learn basic commands. I can’t wait to meet your fur-baby!

Rachel was amazing with my crew. She came over to meet them beforehand and gave very detailed reports of her visits. We were able to enjoy the Christmas Festival without worrying about our furkids. They were in great hands! Wish she was closer to home for us to use more often!
Rachel was awesome, providing lots of updates and photos during Maggie's stay. It certainly put me at ease knowing my dog was in such great care, I'd have know hesitation booking with Rachel again.
