It’s important for me to know when feeding times are, how often your pets need exercise, and their favorite games, toys and treats! I also like to know if your furry animals have any anxious tendencies/intolerances to ensure they are happy and comfortable!
A typical day
I love to explore new trails in the surrounding Knoxville area or even stay local in your neighborhood. I love to let them explore on-leash while also getting their exercise in. My favorite pastime, if we’re not outside, is to snuggle up and play with toys inside.

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of my household pets since I was 13. We had 2 cats for +8 years and adopted our furry brother, Ace, who belonged to my stepdad for about +5 years. He’s a smart and protective Dingo mix who I miss dearly. My parents moved out of state and took the pets with them, which led to meeting Maggi, a beagle-blue heeler mix who belongs to my boyfriends family. Together, we got our Siberian Husky, Leia at 8 weeks. Leia is my pride and joy! I learned how to house train, groom, and set an effective routine for our girl.

Working with Rachel has been a delight. She cared for our dog Ace (a 9-year-old Carolina dog weighing 50 lbs) for two months straight while we were out of town, and we could not have asked for a better sitter. Ace and her dog Leia (a beautiful husky) became inseparable friends under her watch. Rachel took Ace on daily walks and kept him engaged throughout the day. She was quick to respond and kept us updated as arranged. Additionally, something that I pay attention to and appreciate, Rachel keeps a clean, non-smoking house. She is attentive, reassuring, and someone you can count on. We would not hesitate to entrust Ace to her care again in the future.
Rachel is kind, compassionate, and the most dependable person I know. I've seen how she treats people and animals and it shows me that she's very capable and knows how to handle a variety of situations. With her dog, she has a structed schedule and reward system she uses to add consistency in her dog's life. Which is why her dog is so well behaved. I highly recommend Rachel as she is an extremely competent pet caregiver.
