I have been pet sitting for eighteen years. From 1 week old litters to 17 year old seniors, I have cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I have watched puppies and assisted with house training during my stay as well as cared for dogs with complex medical conditions such as epilepsy and diabetes. My experience with dogs is unparalleled. I show dogs in AKC conformation, agility, and obedience events. I have extensive knowledge of canine care, canine health and different breeds. I have worked for professional dog handlers, travelling across the country to assist in the care and showing of many breeds. You will be hard pressed to find someone as dedicated, knowledgeable, and passionate about dogs as I am. No matter what kind of special care your dog requires, I will be able to provide it. In addition to dog and cat care, I also have extensive experience farm sitting and caring for all types of livestock and pets! From goats, sheep, horses, pigs, cattle, and poultry to bearded dragons and parrots, I've done it all. Please don't hestitate to reach out for all your animal care needs!

I ensure the utmost safety at all times by always double checking gates, never leaving a dog unattended in a yard, and remaining vigilant about any unusual behavior that could indicate a health problem.

Rachel stayed with our pets for the second time in two months. We couldn’t be happier with her services. Our three dogs and two cats, plus the outside wildlife are all happy and healthy. It is as if we weren’t even missed! We appreciate Rachel’s professionalism and couldn’t ask for a better house/pet sitter. We will definitely use Rachel for as long as she continues in this business.
We had Rachel stay with our 3 dogs, 2 cats and outdoor wildlife for almost 3 weeks. I was a bit concerned since our “kids” have never been watched by anyone except family. Plus, since Covid, they have had the pleasure of having “Mom and Dad” home 24/7. When we got home, we were greeted with lots of barking and wagging tails. Everyone was so happy! Even the cats came out to greet us, which rarely happens after a trip. This tells me that everyone had a good time and was well cared for, with no trauma from our absence . The outdoor animals came to the yard at their usual feeding time and the bird feeders were filled. It was as if we had never left our home at all! Rachel clearly made everyone feel safe secure and comfortable. What a joy to see! Our house was clean and Rachel even changed the sheets since she knew that we would not arrive home until well past midnight and would want to roll right into bed. Everything was tidy and in its place. I am so happy with the care that was given to my home and our menagerie. I am very pleased with Rachel and am extremely happy that she will be sitting for us again in the near future. I could not have found a better house/pet sitter for my gang.

Schedule
Currently, I only work three days per week! This means I'll have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I'm also an avid hiker and runner and would love to take your pet out with me!
