Hey, I'm Rachel. I have been a dog sitter for about 5 years. I recently lost my beloved cat. I'm not quite ready to get another pet so I'm excited to love on some other pets! I am great with both dogs and cats and am open to other pets as well. There will NOT be any children or other pets in the home. I want to make sure this part is super clear: I do work in-office full time on week days so I will be away from home 7:45am-5:45pm every single week day so your pet has to be able to go that long without a potty break or visit if booking Monday-Friday. I am happy to drop in to assist with walkings, feedings, etc. before and after work. I will also leave the house for up to 4 hours at a time on weekends. I am happy to welcome a doggo into my home. I'm able to stay at your home with your pets while you're away but do not prefer it so I do have a higher price set for house sitting. I live in a safe neighborhood about a block away from the Linden Community center where they have a lovely park, perfect for dog walking. I am very comfortable with administering medications. Growing up, my family dog was diabetic. My personal cat was diabetic as well so I have extensive experiencing with giving insulin shots and other joys that came along with diabetic pets. I can also assist with small tasks like bringing in mail/packages and watering plants.
