I focus on preserving your pet’s normal environment to keep stress to a minimum. I strictly follow your home rules, feeding schedules, walking routes, and medication guidelines. I also make sure your home remains secure and leave everything exactly as I found it.

I've known Rachel for nearly 15 years and she has cared for one or more of our dogs many times over the years. She is GREAT with large dogs, which is sometimes more difficult to find. She has loved our dogs as if they are her own and they love her right back. They love to see her and I am more than comfortable leaving them in her care. She is respectful, caring, trustworthy. And, she takes the BEST photos and sends them to us while we are away! I highly recommend hiring Rachel to care for your pets.

We have two older dogs who can be anxious and often take some time to warm up when someone new checks in on them. They took to Rachel instantly, and that immediate trust meant so much to us. We quickly came to trust her just as much as they did. Rachel is incredibly thoughtful, reliable, and caring. Every time she checked on our dogs, she sent us photos, and some of the best pictures we have of them are ones she took! When one of our dogs needed surgery, Rachel went above and beyond by working from our home so she could help care for her and keep a close eye on her. She also continued to check in with us to see how she was recovering. What really stands out about Rachel is how genuinely attentive she is. If she ever had a concern about either of our dogs, she immediately brought it to our attention. We always knew that she cared for them as if they were her own. Schedule
As a Master’s student, my daily schedule offers a high degree of flexibility that works exceptionally well for pet care. Rather than being tied to a rigid 9-to-5, my classes and commitments are spread throughout the day, leaving frequent gaps for drop-in visits, mid-day walks, and personalized attention.

- To make sure I give your dog the safest, most comfortable experience possible, I’d love to learn a little more about them before our first walk or stay! Could you let me know: Reactivity & Triggers: Does your dog get overly excited, scared, or reactive around other dogs, cats, wildlife, cars, or bikes? Leash Habits: How are their leash manners. Do they tend to pull, or do you use any specific equipment (like a harness, gentle leader, etc.)? Fears: Is there anything specific that scares them, like loud noises, thunder, construction, or sudden movements? Special Care & Medical: Do they require any medication, joint care, or specific handling instructions during walks?
