Dog Boarding in Pet Friendly Home from Home
We've always had dogs in the family and I've had two dogs of my own as an adult. I currently have a energetic working cocker spaniel - pepper who I've had since a puppy. I have a dog myself that I have to get strangers to look after, so I know how important it is to make sure that everyone is happy and comfortable with any arrangements. I respond quickly to any contact as I know myself that by doing so it is reassuring to you whilst you are away. I have been a member of Rover for a long while but I have only just decided to also look after dogs myself and activated my profile. I cannot offer regular doggy day care due to my job. I do have to work away when the project I could be working on at any given time requires it.

Rachel was brilliant with Sonny and took both Sonny and her dog on lots of walks together in the park. Communication with Rachel was great and we would have no worries about leaving Sonny with Rachel again.
Rachel and Pepper have been fantastic with Elsa our 5month old puppy . Rachel has been very patient and caring with Elsa during her daycare taking her for walks and ensuring she gets just the right amount of walks and rest she requires throughout the day. Continuing with her training where possible . Would definitely recommend Rachel to care for your pets we feel Elsa is in good hands when we drop her off for day care and Pepper is so lovely too .They are a great team
Evie had a fabulous time with Rachel, long walks, great fun with her new friend Pepper and lots of cuddles. Rachel sent videos and photos every day and it was so lovely to see the dogs getting along well.
Rachel is an amazing sitter, really helpful and patient. I cannot recommend highly enough. I was given regular updates with pictures and videos. Toby had a fantastic time and was well looked after. I would not hesitate to book with Rachel and Pepper again!
Rachel is amazing, would highly recommend! Very calm and patient when introducing the dogs and happy to work around them. Felt completely at ease leaving Toby and he was well taken care of. He clearly had fun as he is now snoring his head off! 😂
Rachel was fabulous. Our first time leaving tayto and we had complete confidence after meeting Rachel and the lovely Pepper at a meet and greet. We left Tayto for 10 nights and Rachel was so flexible to Taytos needs and kept us up to date with messages videos and pics. It was easy to see how settled and happy Tayto was throughout her stay. Will definitely ask Rachel to have Tayto for future breaks, thanks Rachel and Pepper!

Schedule
When I am working from home I take pepper for walks three times a day so that would be the same for yours if they stay overnight / during the day. Pepper is friendly with all dogs (normally) but as you cannot always tell its better for them to be introduced prior to the stay.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a secure fenced back garden, and plenty of parks within walking distance. As my Pepper is not neutured I cannot take any females in heat or due on heat. If your dog cannot be left alone, I will make sure that I have no plans to pop out anywhere on the day of the visit.

A typical day
I am right next to temple newsam so plenty of woodland and park walks. I have a spare dog seat belt so can take them out further for longer walks on the weekend.
