Safety, trust & environment
I always make sure to double check the fit of harnesses/collars to ensure the safety of pets on a walk. I am capable of putting an animal back in a crate if necessary as well.
Information Rachel L. would like to know about your pet
I am able to walk any breed of any size, however, if the dog is larger than about 30 pounds and is a very strong puller, I am not able to accept your dog as a client. Please let me know if there is anything your dog is reactive to, whether that be something as big as children or as small as squirrels!
A typical day
I don't have any particular places that I usually go to for walks, but I always like to check out any local parks and take walks there! I also love to play with dogs outside and give lots of mental stimulation.

Pet care experience
I have grown up around dogs as well as owned my own dogs for many years. I am well versed in walking, feeding, bathing, and simple grooming techniques. Currently, I work at a vet clinic where we have patients of all shapes and sizes, and I also spent two years being a puppy sitter for Seeing Eye puppies in training. Due to those two years, I have experience with puppies as young as 7 weeks old, and can confidently assist with basic obedience training where needed. I also have experience with larger breeds like Golden Retrievers, Labradors, and German Shepherds.
Reviews
Very gentle and it’s obvious she cares for animals just how slow she walk with him, knowing he’s an older dog have a 14-year-old Shih Tzu. Don’t walk very fast and she just took her time that means a lot to me not to rush him around just to get the work over with. Thank you again Rachel. See you shortly.
Rachel takes the best care of her pets as well as mine. She cares for them by taking them to vet appointments and on walks and has a scheduled feeding time. She’s a pretty cool girl :)
Rachel is a loving, caring person towards animals. She has much experience with taking care of animals, so she is definitely responsible. she’s playful and cheerful when around them!
