I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life! Currently, I have Quinn, a golden retriever and Pepper, a yellow lab! Quinn is 3 years old and Pepper is 6. I’ve had both since they were puppies :)

Rachel went above & beyond for my beloved goldendoodle, Gemma. She accepted my last minute booking request with only 48 hours notice and also made time to stop by for a meet & greet at my home the night before. I really appreciated how flexible and punctual she was, as well as how consistent, efficient, and effective her communication was before, during, and after caring for my little girl. I would 100% trust her judgement / decision-making if and when I ever end up being out of service / contact for a period of time while working in the austere environments I sometimes end up in as a SAR paramedic. I really appreciate how kind and caring she was from the get-go; my dog can be quite sensitive and has a lot of energy at times, but I could tell how comforted she was by Rachel’s warmth, calm personality, and attentiveness to her needs. My shifts are typically 48 hours at a time, out of a station 90 minutes away from where we live. It’s hard to put into words what a relief it was to come home to find my dog acting like her normal self! Other services such as doggy daycare and boarding that I have tried in the past left her highly stressed out, sometimes even to the point of her developing lethargy, anti-social, and/or anorexic behaviors. We will never go back to such arrangements after finding and meeting Rachel - I will continue to hire her over and over again. My dog is so much happier and I can actually relax and concentrate while at work knowing she’s in such good hands! :)

Schedule
I will be off for a few weeks during holiday breaks along with extended weekends once a month. During that time, I will be home the whole time and have no travel plans!

Fur babies are family! Whatever your pet needs, they will get. I’m a teacher so I take care of little kids all day long, taking care of animals is a breath of fresh air 😂

A typical day
Walks, dog parks, hikes (if leash trained), lots of cuddles and backyard time! I have a doggie door so pets can venture to the backyard as much as they’d like!
