I always take precautions. I don’t allow any animals to eat meals together always to be safe. I usually spend the first night sleeping in my living room with our guest! I always take time to make sure the pet is comfortable in my home. I have gates set up in my home to give pets a break from each other if needed. All pets are allowed on my furniture. I typically will have my dogs in a seperate room so our guest can Roam the home without interruption so they can sniff it out. I bring my dogs out one at a time to meet our guest. If they are playful they get lots of playtime with my young dog Ember and if they are older and don’t like to play ember respects their boundaries and leaves them alone.

We will get to play with my social dog ember depending on what services you need. We have lots of snuggle time and can work on training that the owner might want worked on or learned. I can provide a nail trim at additional cost as well as a bath. I have treat puzzle games. Training stimulation if preferred. We will also go on long walks if the weather allows. My step daughter lizzy also gives the furry guests lots of love.

I worked at a boarding facility for 3 1/2 years and have been currently working at a vet clinic for the last 4 years. I trained my dog myself, i am not certified as a trainer but am more than happy to work on things with your pet that I can at no extra charge! I am experienced in understanding dog behavior. Being that I work at a clinic I know some first aid care if needed.

George loved his time with Rachel and her family! Although we had to cut it short due to the winter storm approaching, Rachel sent plenty of updates and pictures. Felt very comfortable with her family and home.
Took care of our dog as if she was a member of the family
Rachel was great as a pet sitter for Clementine, our dog, and Snips, our cat. She was very easy to communicate with and sent updates while she was checking on our animals. Will definitely use Rachel’s help again in the future!
Rachel did a good job with Olive. We knew she would be very lonesome because she still misses our other dog so Olive is even more shy. So we requested that she spend a little more time with her. Rachel did that and it was greatly appreciated.
