Please note: I am not able to accept boarding requests for dogs bigger than 25lbs due to my building's restrictions. I've been around dogs my whole life and have been actively pet sitting for friends and family for over 10 years. I'm most comfortable with small and medium-sized breeds, but I genuinely love spending time with dogs of all kinds. I have hands-on experience with puppies, senior dogs, and administering medication (oral meds, eye drops, etc.), so I'm comfortable handling the needs that come with dogs at different life stages. I live in a condo with no other pets, which means your dog gets my undivided attention. I'm home during the week, so your dog won't be left alone wondering where everyone went. I'm happy to rearrange my space to make sure they're comfortable and safe. Pets ARE family members. Whether it's sticking to your dog's routine, sending you photo updates, or just making sure they feel safe and loved, I take that responsibility seriously.

I cannot recommend Rachel enough. From our very first meet and greet, she was very kind, attentive and made our dog, Charlie, comfortable. She followed our routine perfectly and made sure that Charlie got all the cuddles he wanted. She sent daily updates which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Charlie was happy while he was in Rachel’s care. We will definitely be booking with her again in the future.

She is the sort of person who earns the trust of animals instinctively — calm, patient, and deeply attentive to their needs. She’s taken care of my dogs and 3 skittish rescue cats over the years and I can’t begin to describe her ‘animal magnetism! She has a gift! I have no doubt that she will bring the same care and dedication to the pets and families she serves through Rover. Rachel is a true animal lover. When I travel for work, it really helps knowing my little dude Liam is in the best hands possible. When I drop him off, he is so excited to see Rachel, he juat glances back and says "see ya soon mum". I have so much confidence in her. She really is quite marvelous, sweet and trustworthy, and the pictures she provides when I am away, are terrific. I highly recommend Rachel.

Schedule
I'm home most of the day during the week and on weekends, so your dog will have plenty of company. Tuesdays I'm out in the morning but back by early afternoon. My schedule is flexible, which means I can easily work around your drop-off and pick-up times and keep your dog on their regular routine.

Safety, trust & environment
I don't have any pets. There are lots of great walking areas nearby, and I love getting outside, so your dog will get regular walks and fresh air. I'm happy to follow whatever routine works best for your dog, whether that means crate time, free roaming, or a mix of both. I'll always check with you first about what your dog is used to and what you're comfortable with.
A typical day
Your dog's day will look a lot like it does at home. I'll stick to whatever feeding schedule and routine you set. In between, we'll go for walks around the neighbourhood, have some playtime, and plenty of downtime for naps and cuddles. I like to send photo and video updates throughout the day so you're never wondering how things are going. If your dog has specific needs or preferences, just let me know and I'll work them into our day.
