I’ve cared for cats through drop-in visits and overnight stays, making sure each one feels safe, comfortable, and well-loved while their owners are away. I’m a therapist full-time, which means I’m calm, attentive, and very tuned in to behavior and routines. I’ve also fostered kittens and have a cat of my own, so I’m experienced with everything from playful young cats to shy or sensitive ones. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, medications, litter care, enrichment play, and giving plenty of affection.

In your home I follow your routines exactly, including feeding, playtime, litter cleaning, and any medication instructions, so your cat feels comfortable and secure. I always supervise interactions and make sure doors, windows, and other hazards are managed for safety. In my home I maintain a clean, quiet space where cats can relax, explore, or retreat as they wish. Having fostered kittens and being a cat owner myself, I understand how to read behavior, provide comfort, and create a stress-free environment that keeps pets happy and safe.

Rachel is a super trustworthy and fantastic pet sitter. She has cared for my small dog multiple times, and I know he is in good hands with Rachel. My dog is a high maintenance dog with medication needs and a stage 5 clinger, and knowing this, Rachel sends me meticulous updates with lots of photos and videos. I can also trust her to give me honest updates and will always go to her for our dog sitting and walking needs!

Schedule
I work from home much of the week, which allows me flexibility and natural breaks throughout my day for drop-in visits or extended care. My schedule includes built-in gaps between sessions, so I’m able to provide attentive, unhurried visits and stick closely to your cat’s routine. Because I’m already accustomed to managing a structured schedule, I’m reliable, punctual, and communicative. Pet care fits seamlessly into my weekly routine, and I’m intentional about only booking what I can thoughtfully and consistently handle.
