Safe & Reliable Dog Care!
Dogs are my best friends and I love to make them happy! I have a lifetime of experience caring exclusively for dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities. I have lovingly cared for and trained my own two giant rescue dogs and trained two Great Danes before them. My experience includes food preparation (including raw diet preparation), minor medical care (oral medication, insulin shots, and basic first aid), basic training experience (clicker training & positive reinforcement methods), and I have worked with dogs who have special needs/physical disabilities who might need more attentive care! I am CPR certified thru PetTech and have attended their first aid course. My pets do not come with me to stays as they are lazy homebodies so I am more than happy to accommodate dogs who might be apprehensive/reactive around other dogs! Unfortunately my skills and experience do not transfer to cats as I am allergic. My goal is to provide for your dog the love and care you would give them if you were home, and provide for you peace of mind while you travel. I am also known for sending plenty of high quality photos of your pet throughout the stay! Although I love all animals and am willing to provide care for your caged, aquatic, or backyard critters, I am SEVERLY ALLERGIC TO CATS so I cannot stay in houses that have them!

I am familiar with a variety of training types and prioritize your pets' safety in accordance with what you would typically provide in your home! I am also happy to provide standard home care services such as mail/package pick up and snow removal.

We loved having Rachel sit with Lucy! It’s hard to trust someone with your pet and your home but Rachel made us feel so comfortable. We received daily updates on our dog and came back to a happy pup and the house as tidy as we left it. We have no qualms about hiring Rachel in the future!

Schedule
I currently work from home and am typically around for most of the day. My ultimate goal is to provide your pets with the same care you would if you were home! I am currently booking for summer/fall!
