I grew up with Snoopy, the only cat who could pull off a dog's name and I adored him! I truly believe that growing up with a loving pet companion teaches you how to respect animals, meet them at their level and earn their trust. Throughout my adult life I have had the privilege of having three of my own cats. Many of my friends have trusted me to walk, bathe, medicate, feed, and care for their fur babies in their stead. I have years of experience taking care of cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, fish, hamsters, sea monkeys (yes you read that right) and guinea pigs of all ages, sizes, temperaments, medical conditions and breeds. Leaving your pet(s) in a strangers care can be a daunting experience, which is why I pride myself on providing all the trust, cuddles, love, fresh air, play and security that your pet needs. They are my number one priority, I will keep you as updated as you wish to be with pictures, videos and a summary of our activities during the day. I will care for your pet as though they are my own, they will be safe, loved and emotionally fulfilled when they are with me.

Safety, trust & environment
If I have the privilege to walk, house sit or drop-in for your pet(s), ideally I'd like to meet you and your fur-baby(ies) in their home so that they know I am a safe person and that their owner(s) trust me to learn their routines and their world. I walk dogs individually or as a pack if they live together or know each other. I am fully insured, happy to keep them on the lead or off dependent on their recall and behaviour, I take my lead from you on this (see what I did there!). I will ensure they are properly hydrated, insulated and cleaned up after. I am fully DBS checked too.

Rachel was absolutely amazing looking after our slightly anxious pooch Cooper. She has a very kind, calm, caring and natural manner, putting us immediately at ease and feeling confidant that Cooper was in really good hands. She is extremely professional and knowledgeable of dogs needs and took time to understand our dogs funny quirks. She was very good at communicating, keeping us updated with lots of messages and photos of Cooper, which was very reassuring. We feel so lucky to have found Rachel, she is a special lady and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog carer 🥰🐶😁
We have booked Rachel for the first time this weekend, following a meet and greet a few weeks ago and our reactive Dalmatian is absolutely besotted with her! They clicked straight away and it's so nice to meet someone that just gets dogs, especially the reactive kind. We felt at ease with Rachel immediately and we are so glad we found her, her communication and updates were great throughout and we knew that our girl was in very safe hands.
Rachel is a warm friendly and empathetic lady, she really came to my rescue after I fell and was unable to walk my dog Barbara. I couldn’t be more pleased as Barbara took to her immediately and I’d say from her enthusiasm to meet up on day 2, Barbara loved every minute of her company! Rachel was careful to pitch everything about the walk to Barbara’s character so , I would be more than happy to recommend her.Thank you Rachel
Rachel was brilliant with our dog Bromo, he had lots of cuddles and was great to know he'd had some company and love whilst I was out at work
Rachel made us feel instantly at ease during our meet & greet, and she looked after our 2 dogs (and home) for 2 nights and we can’t thank her enough! She provided updates throughout our trip of their walks & what they had been up to - she lovingly cared for our girls. Would love to have her look after them again. Thanks again Rachel 🐾

Schedule
Available for daytime drop ins and dog walking in Bristol. I'm available for local short term and extended house sitting. At the moment I don't have a car in Bristol so would need to be able to reach your house via public transport. I enjoy exploring new areas and always find that best when I have a pet by my side.
