I work full time but I live close enough to come home over my lunch hour, my husband has a very open schedule and we do our best to work with clients’ schedule around our own to make your needs the priority.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard, extra kennels, and four very loving and friendly dogs. I’m a big believer in exercise physically and mentally for pets. In others’ homes, I stick to whatever schedule your baby is accustomed to; medication, exercise, dietary needs (I have even made a dog poached eggs!).

Information Rachel K. would like to know about your pet
I like to know a pets typical routine, bathroom habits, dietary and medication needs and schedule, typical and atypical behaviors, past and present medical concerns. I also like to know their favorite treats and any treats, foods, or habits they’re not allowed.
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs with treat activities. I usually try to do one mental stimulation and one physical stimulation a day with the babies I watch. Learning a trick or working on an established one, hide and seek, finding the treats…Cuddling and kisses are not off the table either.

Happy to help you and your babies!
Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs, cats, and houses since I was 12 years old. I have trained over 8 puppies and am versed in basic care for senior pets. I wanted to be a vet before chemistry forced another path for me, but that never curbed my love for animals and I still work in a veterinary hospital. Happy to help, so reach out and let me know how I can be of service!
Reviews

Rachel was amazing! Finely had the best time away from home and we knew she was so loved and taken care of!

Thank you for taking for Ash! You’re the best! 😊

We had a great experience with Rachel and a new puppy! She kept us informed daily with pictures and our pup was happy and had a blast. Very relieved to find someone to take care of a new pet which can be so stressful! Very appreciative

Rachel and Mike are awesome! Stitch always has a good time when he stays with them!
