I am currently working full time during the week M-F and coaching on the side in the evenings. Coaching is almost over, so I will have additional availability coming soon. Currently open for weekend drop in visits or walks! I have a dog who I play with and take on walks almost daily so pet care is important!

I love working with large dogs since that’s all I’ve ever grown up with, however I don’t have any preferences. I am willing and able to provide medication, feeding, watering, bathing, etc.
A typical day
I love to take my own dog out for long walks around the neighborhood, around trails and water sources, and even let her play on the playground in my neighborhood some (she loves to slide lol). While watching your dog they will have a fun time with me playing fetch, walking, and being spoiled with love.

I obtained my Masters degree from LR in occupational therapy and love to coach sports in my spare time. I moved to Elizabeth City for a job almost 3 years ago. I am looking to make some money doing something I love in my spare time. I have owned dogs my entire life (currently have 2 rescues) one of them is a sassy, sweet, 6-yr old rescue named Skye and the other one my parents now have is Storm a 1 1/2-yr old lab/husky mix! I love to be around dogs, just playing with them brightens my days! I will treat your dog as if he/she were my own and give them a good time whether it be with a nice long relaxing walk, or playing fetch/tug till we're both tired :) Hope you'll trust me with your furry family member because I'd love to get to know them, while also helping you as the owner out while you're away.

Rachel was absolutely amazing with Xena. Xena was so happy and calm when I got home. I could tell she really liked having Rachel look after her and play with her. I would definitely recommend Rachel as a dog sitter.
Rachel is wonderful with animals! She loves every animal like her own. Your pet would be in such great hands with Rachel. She is very energetic and animals just love to be around her!!!
