I live in a quite neighborhood with a fenced yard. No other pets currently in my home. Happy to crate your pet if that is your preference, or my yoga room is a safe and comfortable space for my guest(s) while I am out working.

Information Rachel K. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know about any special needs, personality traits (anxiety, excitement, aggressive, etc.), training/commands, and routines. I like to keep everything as consistent as possible to keep them comfortable!
A typical day
I have a neighborhood that is great for walking and I've found a few spots near that are pet friendly. We could go to a restaurant or park nearby. I have bones, toys, frozen pb Kongs, a treat puzzle game, and a licking pad for indoor entertainment. If your pet is not the active type, we could sit outside by the fire pit and hang with the neighbors, or cuddle on the couch streaming the latest bingeworthy show.

Cool Aunt, but for your dog
Pet care experience
Recently, my fur baby of 15 years crossed the rainbow bridge. While I am not ready to adopt again myself, I have a lot of love to give and would enjoy the opportunity to spoil your pet like a cool aunt would. In addition to caring for my own, I have been sitting for friends and neighbors for years. I live in a quite neighborhood with a fenced yard and a pet-friendly home. Walks, couch/bed time cuddles, sardines with dinner, and frozen PB Kongs are a few of the amenities available. My evenings do tend to be busy and I can be out for 2-6 hours. My yoga room is a safe and comfortable space for my guest(s) with a dog bed, food/water bowls, toys, and piddle pads (if needed) while I am away. I have experience with puppies, seniors, and special needs pets.
Reviews

Rachel was so great with my grumpy little old dog. My dog has some health conditions so I was worried leaving her for 4 nights, but Rachel took such good care of her that my dog did not want to leave at the end (and only part of it was due to dementia)!

Rachel was a great sitter for my dog. Fiona really enjoyed playing in the backyard and all of the special care that Rachel provided. It’s obvious how passionate she is about dogs and taking the best care of them.

Rachel is excellent. Communication was quick, consistent, and very detailed. I loved her sweet updates and knowing my lil guy was in good hands. We had a canceled flight that resulted in an unexpected delay in our planned pick up. Rachel was extremely kind and able to accommodate us in our time of need. She is absolutely great!

Our pups love going o Rachel’s and we always feel confident that they are in safe hands! Highly recommend!
