Professional experience includes being an assistant manager of an animal shelter, variety of dogs of all sizes and cats. Bottle feeding puppies to providing medications, vaccines, and other vital care services. Worked with strays and home surrendered pets. Personal experience includes pet mom of 2 miniature dachshunds rescued as puppies now enjoying senior life. My girls are short haired dapple Ava Von Strudel age 16, long haired red Olivia Rose age 13, and occasionally I sit for my daughters short haired red Sophie age 5. Having doxies, I don't let them on the furniture alone or to climb stairs because its bad for their backs. I have always had a great rapport with dogs and enjoyed working with them. In my experience patience is always key to any dog regardless of size age breed and condition to build trust is important. I will care for your pup as my very own. I work however it's very flexible so don't hesitate to contact me.

Having just moved to the area, we were in need of a dogsitter for an out-of-town wedding. We reviewed Rover and visited with Rachel & John. Our puppy (fill grown but still our puppy) stayed with Rachel & John for the long weekend that we were out of town. The picture updates and information were very comforting to us and provided piece of mind. Our puppy was happy and well taken care of. We will definitely us Rachel and John again!!
Our Welsh Corgi Chummy had a great time with Rachel, John, and family. Through many photos, we saw her day unfold with playing, cuddling, eating, and resting. When we picked her up, she was obviously comfortable with them both, and not anxious or stressed. You can tell they truly enjoyed her, which makes us feel good about being a repeat customer. Rachel and John are familiar with rescues and gave my girl great care.
Rachel and family were wonderful to have watching Carson during the holidays. We were comfortable knowing that he was well cared for and having a great time while there. Schedule
We both have very flexible schedules so we have plenty of time to devote to your fur baby. Because there are 2 of us it's double the attention and affection!! We will keep you updated so you can relax knowing we care!

Safety, trust & environment
We provide a family atmosphere for your pup a large fenced yard and go for walks in the neighborhood we will crate only if you require it. We are very aware of environmental factors and dog health. I.e. hot weather? Short walks depends on pavement temp. lots of water during grass time ect.
