We work from home and generally have a fair bit of flexibility to adapt to your dog’s needs and schedule. We like to get as close to your pets normal routine as we can and make sure we throw in a little adventure or too as well!

I would like to know how well they socialize with others. Their regular habits for time left alone, bathroom breaks, exercise, meals etc. I would love to meet them and see if we connect. Whether they are comfortable around cats, or too interested in them. Their grooming and maintenance needs. Their favourite toys and treats. What their normal house rules are and furniture access. If they enjoy time with other dogs we can explore introducing them to ours and doing some group adventures. But we take this on a case by case basis!
A typical day
We'll go on walks, play fetch, go for runs if they like that. If it's the weekend we could go for hikes or hit up some trails. Depending on their comfort level with other dogs we have many options for busier or quieter adventures. We’ll cater the activity to your dogs' needs and preferences.

Pet care experience
We’ll take care of your pet as if they were my own. We love being active and spending time outside. We both have the option to work from home most days and with our shared flexibility we can be fully available to be there for your pets needs. Outside of work hours we love walking and hikes so there is a variety of options for time spent outside. Between the two of us we'll make sure your pets feel safe and loved and that their healthy boundaries are protected and their regular training rules and routines are followed. We always offer a free meeting to see if we are good fit for you and your pet. We look forward to hearing from you! As of right now Jason will be the primary care but if your pets needs are more complex or you need a little extra help with training, Rachel has 4 years as a certified dog trainer and is happy to help as she can too!

Rachel did an amazing job sitting our farm and sent us lots of pictures and updates. She was knowledgeable and handled our livestock guardian dog really well. She kept our home and property clean and nothing was out of place! She also did a great job checking up on our herd of llamas. She proactively shovelled snow, asked about uncovering hay when a strange spring snow storm came through and kept her eye on the troughs for all our animals. I would highly recommend Rachel if you are looking for a reliable and capable person to take care of your dog and property.
We had a fantastic experience with our Rachel and Jason! They stayed at our house for a full week and took excellent care of our doggo. From the start, communication was clear and consistent, and we really appreciated the regular updates and photos, it gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Our dog was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for when we got back. It was obvious he received lots of attention, exercise, and affection. Our home was also left clean and tidy, which we really appreciated after traveling. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and caring sitter. Thank you again for taking such great care of our pup!
Jason took care of our 2 pups for a few days and was great! Super friendly, accommodating and provided lots of updates. We would definitely recommend him as a reliable dog sitter.
