I work from home everyday so am very flexible and able to accommodate last minute! I get that life can be unpredictable and making sure your four-legged family member has the best care is a huge priority. I’d be more than happy to help wherever I can and do it with the best care, love and attention that they deserve 🐾

✅ Enhanced DBS Certificate I am always very vigilant and in tune with the animals in my life (a sixth sense if you don’t find it too cheesy 😂). In the owners home I take my time to make sure I fully understand your pet, their routines and needs. You know your furry friend better than anyone, therefore I make sure that we are all on the same page so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re getting the best care and love ❤️! In my own home everything is warm, inviting and safe. My flat is situated right around the corner from the lovely Kensington Gardens so strolling around the greenery is a lovely treat for both me and your pet 🌳! I also know all the lovely side streets and routes to avoid crowds if, like me, they can get a bit overstimulated!

The more I know about your pet beforehand, the better I can make sure they have a happy, safe, and stress-free stay. Please let me know about: 🐾 Their usual daily routine (walk times, meal times, sleeping arrangements, etc.) 🐾 Any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or dietary requirements 🐾 How they are around other dogs, people, children, cyclists, wildlife, or busy environments 🐾 Any fears, anxieties, triggers, or behaviours you’d like me to be aware of (for example fireworks, being left alone, resource guarding, reactivity, escape artist tendencies, etc.) 🐾 Their favourite activities, toys, treats, games, and anything that helps them feel comfortable and settled 🐾 Any training cues, commands, or house rules you’d like me to continue while they’re with me 🐾 Whether they are allowed on furniture, sleep in a particular place, or have any routines that are important to maintain 🐾 Anything else you think would help me get to know their personality and provide the best possible care Every dog is unique, and I genuinely love getting to know what makes them special. Every dog is different, so I like to tailor their day around their usual routine as much as possible to help them feel settled, comfortable, and at home. A typical day usually starts with a morning toilet break and walk, followed by breakfast, plenty of fuss, and some relaxation time. Throughout the day, we’ll enjoy walks, playtime, enrichment activities, and lots of companionship. Whether your dog loves exploring, playing fetch, sniffing every blade of grass, or simply curling up next to someone while they work, I’m happy to adapt to what makes them happiest. I work from home, which means your dog will have company throughout the day rather than being left alone for long periods. There are always plenty of opportunities for toilet breaks, cuddles, belly rubs, and photo updates for you too! Evenings are usually a mix of another walk, dinner, and winding down together before bedtime. My goal is for your dog to feel like they’re on their own little holiday while you’re away—safe, loved, and thoroughly spoiled (within reason, of course!). I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, so I treat every dog as if they were my own and make sure they receive lots of love, attention, and care throughout their stay. 🐾💕

I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. I grew up with two adorable cockapoos, and I’ve been surrounded by pets across my whole family, my grandparents had a Pomeranian and a poodle, one side of my family has cats, and the other has a cavapoo, plus a rescue dog my cousins brought into their home. Being around so many different personalities has given me a real understanding of how unique every pet is. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, whether that’s going on long walks, playing, or just relaxing together. I’m very comfortable with longer walks too, especially from my time doing door-to-door fundraising for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, where I met so many wonderful pets along the way. Since losing my own dog last year, spending time with other people’s pets has meant even more to me. I recently dog sat for a friend’s lovely senior cocker spaniel in December, making sure he was well looked after, even when he had a bit of an upset tummy! I was mindful of his arthritis on walks and ensured he never left my side. I’m caring, patient, and attentive, and I’ll always treat your pet like they’re part of my own family. Whether your pet needs lots of exercise, company, or just some calm companionship, I’m here to make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved ❤️

Rachel looked after our little cocker spaniel puppy and did an absolutely amazing job. She treated him like her own and followed all of our instructions perfectly. I would definitely use Rachel again when we need someone caring to look after our puppy
Rachel is a delightful, responsible young woman, who has a real connection with dogs. She has grown up with dogs around all her life, and is aware of their practical needs, as well as the importance of a connection with them, especially when their beloved hooman is away. She will send regular photos and pupdates if that's what you would like. She loves to get out and about, with regular walks and playtime, followed by chilled cuddles all being a priority. Rachel recently dog-sat for a friend's dog, and was faced with dealing with the poor pooch's tummy upset (pre-dating her arrival I would add). She liaised with the vet, arranged a visit to pick up medication, which she administered, and all was well and doggy fully recovered by the time the owners returned. She is capable and competent when faced with the unexpected! You couldn't be leaving your dog in better hands.
