I've taken care of dogs since I was 7 as I live in an animal lover family :) I've raised chickens, ducks and now have a senior dog and a 4 year old cat at home. I have experience with dogs ages 2 to 14 and cats ages 6 weeks-4 years and would love to care for yours too :) -I have experience with shy, timid dogs and cats as well as rambunctious, excited dogs/cats and do my best to read and respect your pet's preferences and needs. -I live in a woodsy area with lots of surrounding wildlife so I am familiar with environmental safety concerns in and out of the home. -I have experience administering oral and topical medications for cats and dogs.

Dogs: It's my goal to prioritize the safety of your dog on walks so I carry pepper spray and generally avoid other dogs unless you say it's okay. Cats: My family has a sensitive, quirky little guy of our own back home that loves to seek out places he's not supposed to be in so I am familiar with your concerns of keeping them safe and out of trouble! He's also very very slow to warm up, so I understand trust can take time too. I love to build trust through their favorite things, so let me know if they have any of those :) I live a calm, quiet life and always maintain a clean space so you can have a worry-free trip.

Schedule
I'm currently working part-time Fridays and Saturdays 7a-5p so while I am happy to sit any day, many pets do better with an additional person to let them out midday or take them on a walk on the days I work. That said, I prioritize their exercise everyday and make sure they get play time no matter what!
