Works from home, fenced-in yard 🐾
I am a compassionate dog mom to a chocolate lab named Charles. He is super sweet, gentle, and gets along with dogs of all ages and sizes. My husband & I work from home, so we're always here. Our backyard is fully fenced. We are located in a woodsy neighborhood in Interlochen, close to US31, a short 10 minutes from Traverse City. We have a 7-year-old daughter. She loves dogs of all sizes, as she has grown up alongside our lab. I grew up with dogs and have extensive experience caring for them. Ivan and I are passionate about providing a great experience for both you and your pup. Your dog will be treated as a member of our family. I am happy to provide daily updates and photos. Your dog will get lots of love and attention during their 'dogcation.' The dogs that stay with us typically do not want to leave and, when they return, they come racing up our steps! ♡ (Please make sure to read all sections below, especially the "Information Rachel & Ivan would like to know"). Rachel and Ivan were able to take our dogs for a few hours of daycare with very little notice. Our big Lab can have separation anxiety, but he did very well with Rachel. Both dogs were happy and comfortable, and we will definitely use Rachel and Ivan again!
Rachel and Ivan are absolutely wonderful! Gives us great peace of mind to know our Bouvier is welcomed into their home and treated like a family pet. Their dog is also awesome!
Rachel and Ivan take such good care of our dog and went out of their way this time to transfer him to another sitter. We will always look to them first when finding boarding!
Remmie always enjoys her time with Rachel and Evan. They send wonderful photos and updates, and I feel at peace with her care as I travel.
First time leaving our 2 yr old Bouvier with Rachel and Ivan, but we will definitely be reaching out again! They were great about communicating and sending pics. It was clear that they welcomed her fully into their home and routines. Loved seeing our dog interacting with their Lab and young daughter❤️❤️❤️

My husband and I both work from home, so we are almost always here. We have plenty of time to dedicate to our guest dogs and enjoy spending time with them. ♡

We like to send new clients a brief questionnaire to complete prior to their first booking. Please let us know if your dog is good with other dogs and children. We do not allow dogs with aggressive or reactive behaviors or recent history of indoor potty accidents. (Note: We don't let dogs on our human bed). ♡

Your pup will have access to toys and are welcome to bring their own favorite toy. They can have as much time outside as they like (weather permitting), and spoiling of course! Belly rubs, snuggling, play time, treats (as allowed). ♡
