I currently work remotely, which gives me the flexibility to provide consistent care, attention, and companionship throughout the day. Your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches as I’ll be around for regular feedings, playtime, and cuddles. I also go on daily walks, so your dog will enjoy fresh air and exercise as part of my routine. Whether it’s a quick potty break or some outdoor sniffing adventures, your pet’s well-being fits naturally into my schedule.

Reviews

Rachel is an actual angel and a consummate professional, and deserves more than five stars. Our cat Amira is challenging, to say the least - she has diabetes, asthma, hyperthyroidism, and pancreatitis, and requires multiple medications every twelve hours, including insulin injections and an inhaler. She also needs her blood glucose monitored pretty closely because of the complex nature of pancreatogenic diabetes. As if that wasn't enough, she's an intelligent, temperamental cat who can be very difficult to medicate. (Sometimes I think the shelter made a mistake and let us go home with a panther instead of a housecat.) We normally don't travel much, because it is so hard to find adequate care for a cat who is both fragile in health and willful in personality. In our previous city, we did eventually find a great pet sitter who was able to meet Amira's needs and enabled us to travel a little more. With that in mind, we planned a week-long elopement/honeymoon in Hawaii. Then we moved to a new state.. and had about two months to find a new pet sitter to care for our complicated cat during one of the longest and most crucial trips of our lives. We talked to at least a dozen different pet sitters, but Rachel was immediately a standout. It was clear from the start that she knows cats inside and out, and we are so grateful to have found her. While we were gone, she truly treated Amira as though she were her own cat. She quickly picked up on the nuances of Amira's personality, and was extremely attentive to her health and well-being. Pretty quickly into Rachel's stay with Amira, we collectively discovered that Amira is very resistant to letting anyone other than her parents do blood glucose tests with an AlphaTrak glucometer. That meant that the only way to monitor her blood glucose would be to have a CGM applied. Rachel got the CGM application appointment scheduled on her own, took Amira to the vet, figured out the CGM setup on her phone, and basically handled the whole thing super smoothly and calmly, without needing any hand-holding from us (which was very appreciated, since this happened to unfold on the day before and day of our wedding). This was pretty much the trend throughout the stay - Rachel proved herself to be a great communicator, highly knowledgeable about feline medical care, and outstanding at solving problems independently. She took the cutest photos of Amira, and it was clear that in spite of the difficulties at medication time, Amira still liked Rachel a lot and felt comfortable with her. We came home to a nice clean house and a well-cared-for kitty. We really hope to hire Rachel again in the future, I can't imagine anyone better suited to pet sit our panther!

Rachel was great! She helped us out on very short notice and our cats were really happy with her. We plan to book again the next time we travel

Rachel was great for drop-in visits with my cat. She provided lots of great photos and was on top of everything, would recommend!

Rachel did a great job watching my cat Luna. She made sure to get to know her and how to interact with her making Luna feel more comfortable. I could tell that by having her stop in to see Luna made a big difference while I was away. I also received a bunch of cute photos which was much appreciated. ❤️
