About Rachel H.
Safety, trust & environment
I always prioritize making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own environment. During drop-in visits, I pay close attention to each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort level while providing plenty of care, affection, playtime, potty breaks, fresh water, meals, medications if needed, and cleanup. I understand that trust is incredibly important when someone is caring for both your pets and your home, so I pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and attentive to details. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or needs a little extra patience, I’ll make sure they feel loved and well cared for while you’re away.
Information Rachel H. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for a new pet, I like to learn about their personality, routine, energy level, and any special needs so I can make them feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Please let me know about feeding schedules, medications, potty routines, leash behavior, fears or anxieties, triggers, escape tendencies, favorite activities, and how they typically interact with new people or other animals. I also appreciate knowing what helps your pet feel safest and happiest so I can provide the best care possible.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I like to tailor visits and walks to their individual personality and energy level. A typical day may include walks, playtime, sniff breaks, potty breaks, meals, fresh water, cuddle time, enrichment, and lots of love and attention. I’m very active, so I enjoy keeping energetic dogs moving, but I’m equally happy spending quiet time with senior pets or shy animals who just want calm companionship. My goal is always to help pets feel safe, comfortable, happy, and relaxed while their owners are away.

Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life and started walking dogs when I was 11 years old. Over the years, I’ve had experience with dogs, cats, and many other pets of my own. I am comfortable with pets of all ages, personalities, and energy levels, including senior pets, rescues, and shy animals who need extra patience and care. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly love building trust with each pet and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away.
