Hi! My name is Rachel, I am 28 years old and I am a MASSIVE animal lover (especially dogs!) I have grown up around dogs and other animals my whole life and I now have 2 little fur babies of my own! I grew up with 2 cocker spaniels and since moving out of my family home I now have 2 wire haired dachshunds, Roger & Betsy. Both of my dogs are extremely loving, playful and cheeky! They love to play with each other and other dogs. Roger is 2 years old and Betsy is 4 months so we are still going through the puppy training stage. Both of my dogs came to live with me from 8 weeks old and so I have plenty of experience with puppies and puppy training. Despite not living close to them anymore, I still regularly look after my family dogs when my parents are on holiday. Both of them are now elderly and have had their fair share of health problems over the years, this has given me experience of looking after older dogs and administering oral medication. Over the past few years I have looked after dogs of all different sizes and ages for family and friends and I have now decided to use my time wisely and do what I love – being around and caring for dogs! As I already have dogs, my house is full of toys and the cupboards are always full of a variety of dog treats which Roger & Betsy are happy to share. I live within close proximity to lots of walking routes, parks and fields so your pup will never be bored as we have lots of different walking options. I have my own car and as long as you are happy, I am happy to travel with the dogs in my car to visit other walking routes. Please note I do not have a cage in my car but I do have dog seatbelts. I walk my own dogs at least once a day, I am able to walk the dogs at the same time so they can have a good play together, or if you would prefer I can take your dog for a 1-1 walk with myself, just let me know what you would prefer. I encourage Meet & Greet’s beforehand as I want you and your pet to feel comfortable with me and this gives us an opportunity to ask and answer any questions. I also welcome you to view my house and dogs if this would make you more comfortable. Your dog’s welfare is my number one priority and I want all parties involved to feel as safe and comfortable as possible so if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

I booked Rachel while I recovered from my appendix removal. Rachel was very friendly and turned up on time, Bruno loves playing with other dogs and I know he enjoyed Rachel's two dogs when they all went out on their walls. I will definitely book again if I need help in the future.
Thanks so much Rachel for all the updates on Sonnys sleepover. He’s absolutely knackered which makes for a happy mum and dad! 😂 xxx
Rachel was great! Diego was well looked after for the night and enjoyed playing with Betsy and Roger. Was kept updated and it gave us peace of mind knowing he was happy and enjoying his stay :) Will definitely use Rachel again!
We left our 4 month old puppy Molly with Rachel and her beautiful doggy’s. Rachel kept us updated with what Molly was upto and she certainly looked like she was having fun. It was great that Rachel had her own dogs because it meant that Molly could socialise, play and go on walks with other poochies. The only thing I was concerned about was that Molly wouldn’t want to come home!! Rachel was very accommodating and even helped with toilet training. Thank you for having Molly - she will be back! :-)
My pup sonny absolutely loved his stay with Rachel - we've been looking for someone reliable for some time and loved the sound of Rachel's background with dogs of all ages. She sent me so many lovely pictures of Sonny playing with her dogs Roger and Betsy and I felt relieved all day that he was in safe hands. I will 100% use Rachel again and would recommend her to anyone looking for day care for a needy dog! First time using Rover and can't believe i was lucky enough to find her.
Rachel was amazing with my two sausage dogs, she booked me in really last minute and was really flexible and accommodating. I got photo updates and messages throughout the day so I could see how happy they were which was really nice. Would definitely recommend Rachel and I will 100% use her again! Thank you!

Schedule
I mostly work from home, and due to the nature of my job I have a lot of free time during the week. This means I am available most days and at home throughout those days to give your dog all the attention they deserve. I have 2 dogs myself and therefore my life already revolves around playing, feeding, walking and cuddling so another dog will fit perfectly into our routine.

Safety, trust & environment
When I look after a dog, my house is their house! I want the owner to feel comfortable and confident that their dog is safe in my house and I want your dog to feel like they are at home. I live in a 3-floor 3-bedroom house with an average sized garden so there is plenty of room to run around. The garden is completely fenced off and on warmer days I tend to keep the back door open so they can roam in the garden, with fresh water always available. Your dog will be treated how I treat my own dogs (spoilt!) this means that they are allowed to go on the furniture, however I will always respect the owner’s wishes and if you do not want this or have any other rules/preferences then I will do my best to follow these.

A typical day
Dogs get bored just like humans and so I will entertain your dogs throughout the day through long walks and play time with plenty of toys!
