I absolutely love dogs, grew up with a Shih Tzu Poodle and now my mom has a pure bred Shih Tzu that I steal from time to time (see picture). My boyfriend’s family has an English setter and a blue healer, so I love hunting/high energy dogs as well!

Rachel and Hunter took incredible care of Lucia while I was traveling. Rachel sent daily updates and photos, and it was obvious Lucia was enjoying herself. Rachel even brought her along while running errands, and before I picked her up, Hunter took her on a long walk so she’d be relaxed and happy for me when I got home from my trip. I couldn’t have asked for better care — I’ll definitely be booking with them again.
Rachel did a great job taking care of our baby girl and helped manage things around our house while we were traveling! She went above and beyond to help with the house and most importantly making sure our pets were well taken care of. She was very good at communicating throughout the whole trip, which helped put our minds at ease while being away!
Our pup was happy and healthy during her stay with Rachel. We got regular updates and would definitely plan a stay again. Thank you!
Rachel is the best! We left our nervous, worried Koda with her for one night/day. They, quickly, were snuggled on the couch after a walk. Rachel has a quiet home, she's patient and affectionate. She kept us informed and accommodated us as our day got longer than planned. A great environment for our little worrier. We are new to Rover and Rachel was a great choice. Will definitely hire her again.

Schedule
I do work in office Mondays, Wednesdays and some Fridays which is about an hour commute. I am usually gone from 7:30-5 ish, so dogs who can be alone for that long work out well. I work fully from home Tuesdays and Thursdays so I can let them out whenever on those days.

I live in a 2,200 sq ft town home, and a half fenced in yard. Just me and my boyfriend live here so no kids or other animals will be around. We do allow dogs on the furniture and they can sleep with us if they’d like, we like to snuggle
A typical day
I’m a big cuddler, so I do like to pet and snuggle the dogs if they allow me. I also like to play fetch or go on walks around the neighborhood or nearby dog park. If it’s colder out, I will throw toys around the house.
