Your home becomes my home while I’m there, and your pet becomes my whole focus. I do a full walkthrough before the first stay so I know their routine inside and out — feeding times, favorite walk route, where the leash lives, any quirks or comfort spots. Staying true to their normal rhythm is my top priority, because I know changes in routine can be stressful for them even when everything else is fine. I’m attentive to the little things — appetite, energy, mood, bathroom habits — and I’ll reach out right away if anything seems off, rather than wait and see. Medications go out on schedule, doors and gates get double-checked, and I never introduce new food or treats without checking with you first. And because I know it’s hard to be away from them, I send daily photos and videos so you can see for yourself that they’re safe, comfortable, and getting all the love they’re used to at home.

Information Rachel G. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any physical requirements or health concerns. I tailor the experience to each dogs needs and happy to go from couch potato belly rubs to running through trails.

A typical day

I love to take dogs to places that simulate them physically and mentally, a nice park or hiking trail has all sorts of smells and sounds to interpret. If a dog has high energy needs, I am a runner and more than happy to take them on runs or strenuous adventures!

Pet care experience

Your pups new favorite human! I’ve been a volunteer dog foster for my local shelter for the past two years and full-on dog lover for the last 28! Since I was 9 I have volunteered with animals of all kinds, from local rescue pets to monkeys and jaguars in the jungles of Bolivia! I’m experienced with a variety or breeds and personalities. Belly rubs, park adventures, fetch, and plenty of love will flow freely while you’re away :)

Rachel has a special love for all animals. She received her first puppy at age 4 years, and has taken care of pets her entire life. She recently fostered several dogs and found new forever homes for all. Rachel has a passion for pet care and would be a xaring addition to your team. Kimberly B

For as long as I can remember, our dogs have loved Rachel. She’s cared for them often when we’re out of town. Her love for animals has no bounds. She’s owned her own pets over the years and has taken several foster dogs into her care. Rachel would take them everywhere with her like camping and to the lake. Not only is she an animal lover, she’s also more responsible than many adults I know. Your fur baby will be in excellent hands with Rachel.

Our animals love Rachel, as do we. This girl is an animal whisperer. I truly believe they can read the kindness and love she has in her soul. You will not be disappointed hiring Rachel to care for your animals.
