Hello, my name is Rachel and I’m beyond excited to start this journey dog sitting! I’ve dog sat for a few families before, both older dogs and young/puppies. I love staying at family’s homes because I believe that’s where our pets are most comfortable and I don’t want to put them out of their comfort zone. However, I am also available to host your pets at our place. I love playing fetch or walks on nice days. I’m very easy going and will adhere to your rules and ways you take care of your animals!

Rachel was great! Our dog Milo was well cared for and in good spirits when we picked him up. Rachel was also very flexible on drop off and pick up times. I hope to use her again.
Rachel is an excellent provider. She was the perfect company for my blind older lab who just needed extra love and attention. She kept him feeling comfortable and happy with regular walks and feeds. Rachel understood that food needed to be kept out of reach of my food obsessed dog in order to keep him from getting a tummy ache. She communicated as needed.
Rachel will be such a great caretaker of your pet! She’s very kind, compassionate, and patient. She loves all animals and I have seen her take great care of them. She is very attentive to detail and will follow any care instructions you leave. She was always wonderful with my pup.

Schedule
I prefer weekends to house sit, as I work away from home during weekdays. However if your pet can stay at home for about 8 hours, I’d be happy to watch them weekdays as well! Or if it’s close by I can run out during lunch to let them out. Otherwise, I’d love to host your dog at our place. Between my husband and I, they would be left alone for up to 4 hours, open to crating them or letting them roam, whatever they are used to. We had a 36 pound mixed girl who can keep company.

I like to stay in peoples house and clean up after myself to leave it as no one has been there. I will wash sheets after I’m done too. I love to be near your pet during the day while home and play with them in their comfort zone. I believe pets should feel comfortable in whatever environment they’re in, so we allow pets on furniture and beds if that’s what they’re used to.

I love to go for walks or dog parks. This allows them to be stimulated and play with others. I also love hiding treats and letting them sniff out to find them
