I’ve been pet/house sitting for 10+ years and have basically grown up around animals, so this is something that comes really naturally to me. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, chickens, and all kinds of personalities—from super high-energy to more anxious or shy. I’m really active, so I love keeping dogs exercised and on a routine that actually works for them. I also have a background in veterinary science (CPR, safe handling, basic care) and a lot of real experience with pets that have medical needs—medications, special diets, post-surgery care, etc. Over time I’ve gotten really good at reading animals and adjusting to them, so I focus on making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and understood while you’re gone. I’m reliable, flexible, and genuinely enjoy this—I’ll treat your pets like they’re mine and make sure they’re happy, not just “watched.”

I am not offering boarding in my home at this time but I find that animals are much more comfortable in their own familiar homes.

Rachel arrived on time and took the dogs on a nice walk through the neighborhood parks, stopped at water fountains so they could hydrate and made sure they got a good walk in. She was kind and courteous and we look forward to more dog walks with Rachel
I took an extended/long-distance trip in December and this was the first trip I've ever taken without my cat. I was quite anxious to leave him home alone, especially with the recent passing of his cat sibling. I booked drop-in visits with Rachel and she was great! I really appreciated the time that she spent with my cat. I could tell that she was very attentive and caring toward him. I also loved the selfies/pictures she sent during most of the drop-in visits. I could tell that he was happy having a visitor! Rachel also offered to drop-in on an additional day if my flight was cancelled, which was very kind. And after a long day of traveling, I came home and did not have to throw out any litter/trash, as she had taken care of it already--which I also really appreciated! I plan to book with Rachel again if I take any future trips. I highly recommend her!
Rachel was wondering during her stay with our 4 year old dog. She sent us lots of pictures, updated us daily, and our dog was calm and relaxed when we got home. Our house was also tidy and clean which was a treat! I would definitely have Rachel watch our dog again in the future!
Rachel did a great job with my dogs. She was very flexible and responsive to changes in the schedule and adapted well to things that came up along the way. It was a relief knowing that she was there with them and could handle situations responsibly, in my absence.
Well done as always! Unique is happy and healthy :)

Schedule
I am available almost anytime currently which allows me to stay with your animals overnight and during the majority of the day. My schedule is extremely open at this time!
