Hi, my name is Rachel! I’m a mobile groomer @ The Groom Room in Laplata with a veterinary technician background. Before grooming full-time, I worked in animal hospitals where I learned safe handling, behavior awareness, administering medications, and helping pets feel calm in new environments. I bring all of that experience into grooming and pet care, so every pet feels safe, comfortable, and understood.

When I’m in a client’s home, I focus on keeping your pet’s routine the same as when you’re there. I follow feeding instructions closely, refresh water, keep their space clean, and make sure they feel comfortable before I leave. I pay attention to small details—body language, comfort level, and stress signs—so your pet always feels safe and supported.

I really appreciated the quick responses and the daily pictures. The fact that M’aiq actually let her see him goes to show she is definitely a cat person. I didn’t worry about my babies once.

I am a Rover sitter myself so I wouldn’t leave a bad review unless it was absolutely necessary. Rachel was scheduled for two, 30 minute drop in visits. According to the rover cards, she only stayed for 15 mins and 20 mins. She came over before her visits for me to show her how to care for them. I also left written instructions. A friend came by after her first visit and let me know she left the front door unlocked. I messaged Rachel and gave her clear instructions on how to lock the front door for her next visit. When we came home, we found the cats left completely without food and the door was locked incorrectly, locking us out of our house. I did give her two stars because she let me know what time she’d be coming both days and cleaned their litter.
