Former Animal Shelter Employee
I worked at a Non-Profit Animal Shelter. I cared for cats and dogs by feeding, providing medications, and socializing them. I treated all the dogs and cats like they were my own pets, giving them affection and encouragement as well as documenting any behavior or health problems. I have experience with varying temperaments, health issues, ages, sizes, and breeds. I have received dog walking training and have been professionally petsitting and walking dogs for five years. I've even cared for exotic pets. Prior to working at the animal shelter, I volunteered many hours at a humane society. I also fostered many kittens in my home. I grew up with cats and dogs. My work and volunteer experience have given me the knowledge and skills to care for all types of animals.

Rachel took amazing care of our dog, Hannah. We were nervous, because Hannah is reactive and only my parents watched her in the past. Rachel has a calming presence, and Hannah warmed up to her quickly during the meet and greet. Rachel was very communicative and sent us regular updates and photos while we were away. She also took great care of the house and left nothing out of place. It was such a relief to know our dog was being well taken care of while we were on vacation. We are so thankful for Rachel and highly recommend!!
Rachel took such great care of our girls! She definitely had her hands full with three German Shorthair Pointers!! Would highly recommend her and hope to use her again!!
Rachel walked our dog, Ozzy, every week for 9 months. She was very dependable, easy to work with and we trusted her completely. Best of all, Ozzy loved her and loved their walks! The only reason we aren't still using her is due to her moving.

I will run with your dog if they are up for it, play with owner-provided toys, and even trips to dog-friendly hiking destinations if safe.
