I have a very active dog so I’m frequently walking and letting her play outside in the fenced yard. I work 4 weekday mornings outside of the home, but am home by 2 for the day.

For boarding in my home, I would like to know that your dog is friendly with other dogs, and healthy and up to date with your veterinary records. I have my own dog and will not take on more than one dog guest at a time unless they are from the same family in which case I know they already get along with each other. I will only board small or medium dogs of about 40 pounds or less.
A typical day
I will let you decide how long and how often you would like me to walk with your dog. I realize that each individual dog will probably be most comfortable following their own routine. however, if you’d like an adventure, I’m happy to indulge them in a long walk or hike! I typically walk my dog throughout the neighborhood and in the greenway.

I began raising Seeing Eye puppies at age 12, but my family has always had dog members for as long as I can remember! I love to treat pets like family, and make sure they have fun, feel safe, and get as much exercise and attention as they need. I enjoy walking with my dog along the greenways and through the neighborhood, and would love to do the same with your special four legged friend. We also have a large fenced in back yard to wander around. My family and I spend time primarily around the house, visiting local parks, and enjoying the great outdoors and are excited to have your dog join us! Your dogs safety and happiness will be my priority while they are in my care. You can drop off and pick up your dog at any time between 7am and 9pm, but I am flexible with these times if there is an unforeseen issue. One night of boarding equals one 24 hour period. I do require a meet and greet before booking so we can all make sure it’s a good fit.

Rachel is a fantastic sitter. This is my second time using her boarding services. Our dog is well cared for and comes home happy and healthy. Rachel is also very responsive. I will book with her again in future.
My pup had such a great stay with Rachel and her dog Claire. It was her first time boarding and Rachel made her feel right at home. She also made us feel very comfortable and at ease with the process. We will definitely use her again!
