When I am pet sitting, I like to spend as much time with your pet(s) as my schedule allows. I understand that many dogs can get anxious when their owner is away, so I do everything I can to make them as comfortable as possible! This includes staying as close to their regular routine as possible and going on lots of walks. I love taking dogs on trails if that is something they would enjoy.

I would like to know how they behave around strangers, little kids, and other dogs - so that I can ensure the comfort of both your dog and anybody else around. I would also like to know their usual schedule so I can keep things as much the same for them as possible.
A typical day
Depending on the dog's energy level, I love taking dogs on walks by the river and on hikes! In the summer months I stick to early morning or evening hikes so they don't get too hot. Or, if it's in the middle of the day I make sure it's somewhere they could jump in some water to cool down.

Hi! :) I grew up on a farm and have been surrounded by dogs (and many other animals!) my whole life. I have experience with dogs that are energetic and know how to work with them in order to make them the most comfortable and happy. I would love to talk with you about your dog(s) and see if we would be a good fit! I also have lots of experience with horses and various other farm animals if you are in need of more than just dog or cat care!
