I have a fully fenced yard that is 80% grass and 2 friendly dog fur babies and 1 cat at home. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I have an air conditioned room that dogs can go into and be alone if they need some down time. I often play calming music and keep healthy treats on hand (I will have an allergy discussion with every booking!)

It’s important for me to know about any animal allergies, sensitivities, negative experiences your dog has had, any aggression and any reactive behavior. Knowing about your dogs past will help me regulate them in the present.
A typical day
I practice positive reinforcement training techniques will all the dogs that come here. We do group training with my dogs. I assert myself as the alpha pack leader. Your dog will have the opportunity to play games with toys, play chase and socialize, drink lots of fresh water, have treats, and naps.

Pet care experience
For the last 2 years I’ve owned and operated a dog daycare and boarding business from my home. I have a fully fenced acre that is mostly grass (not lava) for dogs to come learn, play, and be safe! I also do drop-in visits, and sometimes offer house sitting, at your house for animals that need to stay home. I also have a produce farm here at my property so I am usually outside. Dogs are welcome to come inside and outside as they please. I practice positive reinforcement training at all times. I am interacting with the animals. They will not be left alone or be lonely while they are here. Your dog will go home tired, socialized, and happy! I do not have kennels. If a dog uses a crate at home, I will ask that you bring their “house” with them. This ensures that they have a safe and familiar place to be while they are here. If they do not have a kennel, it’s important that you bring their bed, so they have their own smells and place to rest while at my place. I have 2 resident dogs and a cat who love to have friends over! Cat can be separated if needed. I prefer to have potty trained and well behaved dogs at my house. I can not accept aggressive dogs as I have my own animals here to keep safe. Please reach out with any questions! I look forward to meeting you soon.

Green Bean had a great stay with Rachel! We haven't taken many long trips so Green was probably pretty shocked to be left for so long, but by the end of the trip she seemed to be having fun and making friends.
Rachel watched Otis a few times. I can’t recommend her enough! She sends lots of updates throughout his stay so I had peace of mind that he was in good hands. He’ll be going back to Rachel in the future!
