Information Rachel D. would like to know about your pet
Does your pet have a bad habit? Don’t be afraid to tell me! We can work together on accommodating your pets needs around their quirks. Each pet has different personalities, past experiences, and mental and physical health. I don’t want you worrying about how I might react to prevent your pet from getting cared for. Please reach out to me with your concerns on how your pet may behave, that way we can work out a plan together. Also, you can inform me of the rules and trainings you want me to help maintain. If you have a nervous pet, what are some things that can help calm them? What is your pets favorite toy or playtime activity? Knowing some things like these can help me prepare for our visit. :)
A typical day
I have plenty of cuddles for the cuddlers, and playtime for the high energy. Of course if some just want food refills and poop scoops without eye contact I can give that, too. Though some sort of interactive play or exercise is recommended so I will be looking for ways to work that into the visit if your pet is comfortable with it.

Pet care experience
I have an innate love for animals of all kinds so my motivation to give them the best care is always there. I’m new to Rover but I have always had pets in my life to care for since childhood. (Years of experience include this.) I understand no 2 animals are the same and have individual wants and needs. I’m always learning what different signs and behaviors mean and how to approach them. I have experience with puppies, kittens, and seniors. I am willing to learn how to care for your pets specific needs or disabilities. I can help encourage good habits and basic training you want your pet to maintain with patience and persistence. Ultimately, I can show your pet the love they need in your absence.

Amazing as always !!

We just moved to Tyler and are so happy that Rachel is our new go-to cat sitter! She’s awesome!

Rachel was amazing!! Gave me tons of pictures of my babies, stayed to play with them and took great care of them during the drop-ins! I loved the report card with details of the visit and updates/comments on each of my fur babies!

Amazing sitter. This was my first time using rover or any dog sitting app and I was very scared Nemo wouldn’t feel comfortable at first, until we did a meet and greet. Nemo was taken care of amazingly and she is very sweet, she will definitely be Nemo’s sitter from now on since I only trust her around my Nemo.
