Safety, trust & environment
My home has a fenced back and front yard, is puppy-proof (no hazardous things to chew or trip on), and quiet. In your own home, I am careful to follow any house rules you have. I am always careful with those escape artists when opening doors. I am familiar talking to vets and can follow emergency advice over the phone.

Information Rachel D. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know all about your dog's personality, quirks, and relevant background. Health info, fears, sensitivities, escaping tendencies, reactivity to other animals, and commands are all important. I will always make sure to get an emergency contact and vet contact, as well.
A typical day
Now for the fun part: what your pet and I will do during their stay! With a senior dog, low impact, low stress walks through the park or on the greenbelt are often nice. More energetic dogs often like a hike and playing with toys or my dog. I am always happy to cuddle on the couch and give belly rubs and pets, or simply let them hang out if they prefer to do their own thing. I’ll be sure to check with you before the stay about their favorite things to do.

Trustworthy Animal Lover
Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for pets on Rover since 2021, but I have always been an animal lover, with over 10 years of pet ownership and sitting experience. I’ve cared for and owned dogs of all ages and breeds, cats, guinea pigs, and more. I will be attentive, thorough, and punctual to any stay or walk you book! I live in a quiet, puppy-safe home with a fenced (6ft tall) backyard. I have one young, friendly dog and one elderly cat. I will keep your pup/cat safe, cozy, and entertained throughout their stay!
Reviews
Once again, Rachel was a great caretaker!! Thanks again!!

Rachel did an amazing job watching our cats while we were out of town. She was responsive, accommodating, and willing to work with an anxious kitty who needs a little more patience and understanding. I would absolutely recommend Rachel to watch any creature.
We can't thank Rachel and Max enough! Sadie was well-cared-for!! We would recommend Rachel and Max completely. Thanks!

Rachel was great! Very flexible and communicative, absolutely happy that she was able to walk Ino two days in a row. Will definitely book her again to walk my dog :)
