Rachel and Raul were the best sitters for Ozzy that I could have asked for! I selfishly want to keep them as a hidden gem for myself and my pup ? but y’all they truly are the best and here’s why: •Ozzy is epileptic and requires a lot of responsibility for his medical condition. These two still welcomed him and were open to 2 meet and greets prior to watching him, to ensure comfort and understanding. •They both work from home, don’t have any other pets or distractions which means they can focus on playing, cuddling and loving your pup (x2)!!! •Rachel was on top of creating a group chat and texting when I required check-ins and sending over daily beautiful photos of my baby ? •Rachel, Raul as well as their home all have such a zen vibe about them. I instantly knew Ozzy would be in good hands. ? I want to note this was only my second time leaving Ozzy with someone, and I was out of the country for almost a week!! I was totally stressed, but these two put my mind at ease. When I came back to pick Ozzy up, he even seemed sad to leave! Also shout-out to Raul for coming all the way up to Cedar Park to drop off an item we forget to take with us! ?

I work from my home office as a travel writer in my cute little ranch home, which means your pet gets consistent companionship throughout the day, not quick drop-ins. I’m around, attentive, and able to provide thoughtful daily updates so you always know how things are going.

I moved to Portland last summer and have intentionally set up my home to be dog-friendly and comfortable. I have backyard access and live near Overlook Park, which makes walks easy and part of our natural rhythm.
A typical day
Your dog’s day begins with breakfast, cuddles, and a morning walk. Because I work from home (travel writer), they’ll have consistent companionship throughout the day, along with regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and attention as needed. My flexible schedule allows me to follow your dog’s routine, whether they love activity or prefer napping nearby while I work. Evenings are calm and cozy, with another walk, dinner, and wind-down time before bed around 10pm. Your dog won’t be left alone for long stretches and will have a staycation close to their regular daily routine.

- I began walking dogs in shelters and later worked for a rescue-focused dog walking and pet sitting company in Chicago, so I’m especially attuned to the sensitive nature and unique personalities animals bring. I’m open to all types of pets and truly enjoy their diversity. Over the years, I’ve cared for shy rescues, energetic puppies, seniors, and animals who just need a little extra patience or reassurance. I understand that no two pets are alike, and I adjust my approach to meet them where they are.
