Hi! My name is Rachel and I absolutely adore animals of all kinds. I grew up on a farm in Mississippi and helped raise horses, dogs, pigs,cats, chickens, cows and even a Squirrel named Lucky!! I have been caring for my own pets, pet sitting and housesitting for friends and fostering cats and dogs for many years!! I am fun, energetic, outgoing and trustworthy. I promise to care for your pet(s) as if they were my own. I work full time in the Waynesville/Balsam area, but I live in West Asheville/Candler area. I can house sit closer to my office if needed during the work week. On the weekends I am more flexible. I look forward to meeting you and caring for your precious pets! 💜

Rachel watched my dog again while I was away for a weekend and took such good care of him! The house was spotless, he was totally relaxed, and she spent hours playing fetch with him (his favorite thing). Can’t recommend her highly enough!!
Rachel was wonderful, she kept in contact with me and was great to work with. I would definitely use her again to take care of my little fella.
We have nothing but wonderful things to say about Rachel. Great communication, updates on our pet provided, and plenty of love given to our cat, Gus.
Rachel took great care of my dog over Christmas! She was super communicative and responsive, made sure he got lots of love and attention and the house was probably cleaner than when I left. Absolutely recommend!!

Schedule
I am currently working full time Monday through Friday, in the Waynesville area and can house/pet sit if it is closer to my office. I live in Asheville and my weekends are more flexible.

I am available to walk, feed and play with your pets. I can housesit overnight and care for plants and other small household chores for an additional fee.
A typical day
I can provide your fur babies with outdoor adventures, walks in the park, doggy play dates, car rides with the windows down and doggy park fun. If your cat is social, we can have play dates with my daughter’s sweet baby boy cat and he loves to play.
