I am an experienced full time pet sitter who will always spoil and love on your fur babies. You can always count on me to be there with them. I have 8 years of experience working in boarding/daycare facilities for dogs and cats as well as veterinary technician experience. I am qualified to give medications and anything your pet needs. I have a lot of experience with lots of animals & being able to care for animals is my passion and it always has been. Animals have always been a special part of me and my life. I have two dogs and a few cats myself. I’ve also been around animals my entire life and always have had atleast one. I’d love to be able to love on your fur babies ; I’ll always be there to comfort them while you’re gone and just be there for them. I hope you will consider me. Accepted a house sitting booking starting at 9am a week out. Informed us the night before that she “typically arrives several hours after clients leave”; too late to find another sitter. Ended up arriving almost 7 hours after booking start time. Spent half of the time out of the house doing drop ins elsewhere. Of the 43 hours from booking start to early termination, was only in the living space with the dogs for around 4 hours. None of which was giving any attention to the dogs, apart from opening the door to let them out and putting food down. Literally only pet one of three dogs once, paid no attention to the other two. Messaging was sparse, only letting us know that the senior blind dog bit her (fortunately didn’t break skin). Reviewed the incident on our backyard cam, saw that she became impatient with the blind dog not coming in soon enough for her to leave to another drop in, decided to GRAB the blind dog that was weary of her and which she had not tried to build a rapport with. Her profile listed special needs experience, but doubtful based on this. Put no effort into making sure all dogs went outside for potty breaks. The senior blind dog is typically slow to get out the door, and was subsequently left without an outside break for up to 20 hours at one point (found out later). Was not responding to texts and we could see on our cam that the senior dog would again be stuck inside for over 12 hours without a potty break. Based on this, we decided to cancel our trip, throwing away $160 worth of event tickets, and driving 4 hours back home at 1am.
Because we have a diabetic dog, I have a lot of anxiety around finding the right person to take care of/watch our Hank. Rachel did a great job with a last minute drop in while we were gone for the evening. Already booked her again!
Rachel is very sweet with my cats and she is prompt with her visits, I am trusting her with my cats and home while I am away for over 1 month. I am very happy and will use Rover and Rachel again, thank you 😻😻

We enjoyed meeting, she was on time and sent us photos of our dog and she was awesome
Rachel did a fantastic job watching our two goldendoodles, one of which is a 5 month old puppy (no easy feat as we all know). She kept them in their routines, provided updates and pictures, and went out of her way to clean up before she left after some rainy days and dirty paws! We'll absolutely use Rachel again & already have another drop in planned. Thanks Rachel!

Schedule
I am a full-time petsitter with a business of my own as well as petsitting on Rover, so I’ll be able to accommodate to your schedule, so if walks/drop ins are needed at certain times or you need me to spend extra time with your babies I can! I also offer toe nail trims if needed during your stay!
