Dogs best friend- active and loving

Hello there! My name is Rachel and I just moved to Philly. Growing up we always had a dog--from the sweet 9 year old golden we adopted to save her from going to a shelter to the rowdy and anxious Dalmatian we adopted at about 2 years old. Throughout my adult life I've always had jobs that have required travel--so much so that I didn't think it was responsible to become a pet owner (yet!). I am hoping to be able to take my love for animals and offer part time pet care.-I have experience with all types of dogs and have often been the go-to pet sitters, walker, and care taker for my friends and family. I've worked with many different breeds, sizes, and personalities and I'm confident that I can provide a fun, safe, and loving environment for your pet!

Rachel boarded my dog Sophie for a few days and was amazing!! Rachel was kind, easy to communicate with, and provided a lot of updates and pictures throughout Sophie’s stay. I would definitely recommend Rachel for any boarding needs and I will keep her in mind for future boarding!

Rachel watched my two dogs for four nights. She sent cute photos of them. They seemed very comfortable and happy. It felt like they were somewhere they could feel at home with a person who genuinely enjoyed their company. I hope she'll be available again to watch them. She was friendly, flexible, and very communicative.

Rachel is the best. She offered to come over and meet our pup before we boarded her. As she was walking down the street, without even knowing it was her, our sweet dog wagged her tail like crazy, immediately identifying Rachel as someone she wanted to know. The love affair continued from there. Rachel sent plenty of pictures throughout her stay, and it was very, very clear, that our Hazel felt at home with her. Such a relief to know your pet is being cared for so well.

Aunt Rachel, as my pups know her, is part of our family! I have three (large) energetic dogs and I completely trust all of my babies with their auntie :) The first time we met was at the baseball park on doggie night and she has been a part of the pack ever since! She is great with dogs of all temperaments; my girls are older and more laid back, but my German Shepherd Dog is young and crazy! Rachel has hosted my dogs countless times when I came to town to visit and it is such a comfort to know that they are truly with family at her place! My oldest girl is a finicky eater and Aunt Rachel will sit with her/make her a special meal to ensure that she eats. I highly recommend Rachel so she can be your pet's auntie as well <3

I have a very anxious, shy dog. Rachel was able to get her out of her shell and comfortable walking without me incredibly quickly! She is a natural with dogs and has dog-sat for me multiple times. Daisy loves spending time with her (and very few other people!). I highly recommend her to watch your pup!

Rachel has an incredible love for animals, especially dogs! She has dog-sat for us for us both in her place and at ours, and I trust her completely. She’s affectionate and will play with your dog or just give your older dog some sweet belly rubs of that is more your doggy’s thing.
