I always loved having pets growing up. I grew up in the country so we had a lot of space for animals to be able to run around and be outside. Dogs, cats, birds...practically every creature you can imagine. Currently I have a cat of my own, and a friend’s dog who I watch fairly regularly. It works out well because I’m a very active person who likes to get outside as much as possible—hiking when the weather permits and bringing him along with me. This is in part due to my ever-changing, flexible schedule. I have a few set shifts during the week, but for the most part I make my own hours and I have time to be available pretty much whenever I am needed!
