We’re homebodies. We’re usually around all weekend, and since we mostly work from home during the week, your dog will be right by our side for pets and backyard breaks. Our exercise style is pretty low-key: supervised fetch in the yard and walks around a mile or two. We aren’t the best fit for high-energy dogs who need long runs or intense exercise to tire out. On the two days a week we head into the office, I (Rachel) come home midday for a dedicated potty break and some fetch or a short walk. We look for guests who are comfortable relaxing on their own for about four hours at a time.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog has full access to the main living areas of our home and a fenced-in backyard. We don’t have a doggy door, so all outdoor time is with us or our teens. We ask that guests sleep independently in their own crate or bed outside of the family bedrooms.

Information Rachel & Cory B. would like to know about your pet
We look for guests who are fully house-trained (no diapers or marking), and current on immunizations and flea meds. We’d love to hear what has (or hasn’t!) worked with past sitters. It really helps us make sure your dog feels at home with us.
A typical day
We usually start with a morning neighborhood stroll, then have their morning meal. We'll do some pets and play till work begins. We'll do a midday play session and potty break. Many pups like to curl up on our oversized bean bag and nap in the afternoon. We wrap up the day with an evening walk, meal time, and some playing or cuddling before they head to their crate or designated sleeping spot for the night.

Your pup is our family’s VIP
Pet care experience
Since we don’t have pets of our own and only host one family at a time, your dog is a temporary family member. We’ve spent 14+ years sitting for friends, family, and Rover guests, and we have a real soft spot for the “quiet types”: seniors, anxious pups, or reactive dogs who just want a calm, predictable home and a human companion. Because that first 24 hours is always an adjustment, we focus on stays of two nights or more.
Reviews

Rachel and C.W. were great with our pup Kiwi! Very professional along the way, we appreciated their thoroughness in asking questions about how to care for Kiwi. We also got great updates and pictures during Kiwis stay, he had a great time! Thank you!

Cory and family took good care of our two dogs, one of whom is quite anxious with new people. We got regular text updates with plenty of photos. Everything went great!

They take amazing care of Asher our pup!! Great photo updates too!

Rachel and Cory were absolutely wonderful with my dog! They kept me updated throughout her stay with plenty of photos and detailed daily updates, which gave me so much peace of mind. They carefully followed all of her routines and instructions, and it was clear they genuinely cared about her well-being.
