Pet care experience
Trusted Dog & Cat Sitter
Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started pet sitting for friends and family over 5 years ago, and I’ve spent the past 3 years doing it professionally. I understand how much love and attention pets need. My goal is simple: to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away.

Rachel did a wonderful job watching our two dogs. She stayed at our house overnight for almost a week and gave us daily pupdates. Not only did she take care of our dogs, she also respected our house and took great care of it. 10/10 highly recommend!!!!

We got regular updates and it was clear that Rachel is experienced!!! They housesat with our two miniature dachshunds. House sitting was wonderful and we were so happy and would book again.

Great job again. We have three bull breed dogs and one cat. Rachel does well with them. She is honest and trustworthy.

Rachel was great; she took excellent care of our cats & dog while we were away. It was to come home to a clean home full of happy and relaxed pets. We'll definitely engage Rachel's services again, and we highly recommend her. Thanks so much, Rachel!
My 4 dogs are my life. It's so scary to go away and find someone to truly care for them. Rachel was fantastic, send pictures everyday. I felt very comfortable her staying in my home. My dogs were fine when I came home and that means everything to me. Simply everything.

Rachel is fabulous with our nervous pups!
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I work remotely, which means I’m able to be home with pets for much of the day and give them frequent attention, walks, and companionship. I’m happy to take dogs on walks and spend plenty of quality time with cats, whether that’s playtime, quiet company, or extra cuddles. Because I work from home, I just need a desk or table and reliable Wi-Fi. I’m able to take regular breaks throughout the day and often work near pets who like to stay close, which works especially well for animals who enjoy having someone nearby. I do occasionally step out for errands or appointments, sometimes for up to four hours, though not every day. For that reason, pets should be comfortable being alone for short periods of time. I’m an early riser and happy to accommodate pets who enjoy early morning walks, but I’m just as content with pets who prefer calm evenings and an earlier bedtime. I always aim to follow your pet’s normal routine to provide consistency and comfort while you’re away. For pets who cannot be left alone for more than short periods, I do offer constant care on a limited basis. Constant care is intended for pets who need someone present at all times and cannot be left alone for more than about 1–2 hours. These stays are limited to a maximum of five days. If you think your pet may need this level of care, feel free to reach out so we can discuss availability and rates.
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
Caring for your pets and your home is a responsibility I take seriously. I approach every stay with care, respect, and attention to detail, treating your pets and your space as I would my own. I prioritize safety, follow your instructions closely, and make sure your home is left clean, secure, and just as you expect it. My goal is for your pets to feel comfortable and well cared for, and for you to feel confident and at ease while you’re away—knowing everything is being handled with reliability and thoughtfulness.
Pets
A typical day
Each day is shaped around your pet’s routine, energy level, and personality. Mornings usually start with a walk or outdoor time for dogs, along with feeding and a calm check-in to set the tone for the day. Throughout the day, I build in movement and engagement that fits your pet—whether that’s neighborhood walks, playtime, or relaxed exploration in the yard. I also include gentle mental enrichment when appropriate, such as practicing familiar cues, low-key games, or simple scent activities. Just as important, there’s plenty of downtime for rest, quiet companionship, or cuddles for pets who enjoy being close. Evenings are kept calm and predictable, following your pet’s usual schedule as closely as possible. My focus is always on keeping your pet comfortable, settled, and cared for in a way that feels familiar and reassuring while you’re away.
