Hey there! ✨ACTIVELY SEARCHING FOR REGULAR WALKING CLIENTS✨ I’m Rachel, an avid animal lover excited to give your sweet babes some extra TLC while you’re away. Rover is the perfect gig for me while I prepare to go back to school. Honestly, I love caring for animals. It’s fun, rewarding, and, dare I say, therapeutic. I grew up with pets, and my dad still jokes about catching me on the phone at age 7, ready to donate my whole $10 to the ASPCA. I’m hoping to work with Rover while keeping up with being a law student at the University of Washington, because if I can combine my love for animals and meet awesome pet parents along the way, why not?! What I love most about this work is getting to know each pet’s unique personality and working with you to make sure your companions are totally at ease. Whether it’s sticking to their routine, going on their favorite walk, or giving extra snuggles, I’ll make sure they get the attention they need, just like you would. I know how important it is to feel confident that your pets are in good hands, and I’m here to make it as easy and stress-free as possible, whether it’s drop-ins, walks, or overnight stays. I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort when caring for pets, making sure the environment is pet-friendly by removing hazards, securing spaces, and providing a calm, welcoming atmosphere. I follow any specific instructions you provide to maintain their routine. Building trust is key, so I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, giving them plenty of attention, affection, and care.

Rachel was great with our two dogs walking them in the middle of the day! She made some of our first experiences with rover a positive one and felt like we could trust her in our home and to care for the pups while we were gone. Thanks Rachel!
Rachel went above and beyond any expectations we had. We had her watch our 6 month old dachshund for about a week and were really nervous about leaving him for the first time. Rachel immediately put us at ease - she scheduled a visit beforehand to meet Deano (who immediately loved her) and talk through our expectations for the stay. She was an amazing communicator before and during the trip, constantly sending pictures, videos, and updates, which we REALLY appreciated. She even took him on playdates and outings to parks (always asking our permission first), and it was so clear how much she genuinely cared about him. She even picked up on all his sweet little quirks! On top of that, she kept the house incredibly clean and went above and beyond helping with things like watering our lawn, doing laundry, and even having the sheets cleaned by the time we got home - which made coming back from a long travel day so much easier. Could not recommend Rachel more highly. We’ll absolutely be using her again for any future travel or walking needs!
Rachel is our go-to sitter and walker! Very reliable and she clearly loves our dogs Copper and Maizey. We always feel relaxed and like our dogs are in good hands with her!

Rachel is a gifted cat sitter! First of all, she had to take care of three of our cats all with very different needs and personalities. One cat in particular never ever ever comes out from under the bed when people come over but he adored Rachel and there were pics to prove that he not only came out of the bed but was rolling around in front of her and was asking for pets! That speaks volumes! He’s scared of every one else. Rachel was punctual, sent great pics, gave medication, and took such great care of our cats. I’m going to recommend her to all my other friends with cats!
Rachel is my favorite person to watch Lou! She is always so kind, communicative, consistent, and Lou absolutely adores her. I recommend her to everyone I know!

Schedule: Since my schedule is flexible until school starts in late September, I’m able to make pet care a natural part of my daily routine. Please reach out if you have any questions!

The more I know, the better I can tailor care to make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and happy!
